Embraced by an oasis of tropical vegetation in the beach town of Ixtapa,Pacifica Resort Ixtapa is an intimate and sophisticated retreat. Its contemporary Mediterranean architecture is graced with delicate Mexican touches, which celebrate the setting on the country's coveted Pacific Coast. With just 16 suites and penthouses, this member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World ensures an atmosphere of total privacy. The cozy resort also proves that great things come in small packages with two exceptional restaurants. La Luna de Shiva boldly unites Mediterranean and Thai flavors, while La Pampa Steak House offers a classic Argentinean experience overlooking Ixtapa Bay.

I LOVE PACÍFICA, all its employees, units, flora, fauna, wild life, escape, beaches, palapas, and services. The only thing I find challenging that makes it unable for me to eat on the grounds is the lack of many gluten-free options at almost ALL of their restaurants. So I can almost NEVER EAT IN THE ON-SITE RESTAURANTS! I WILL NEVER BE ALL-INCLUSIVE!!

We had another awesome trip to this hotel! Over the years we have made many new friends and Pacífica has become our home away from home. We also found that the restaurant and beach food was improved from prior years which was a bonus! Arrive, as always, was great!

Everything was wonderful the first 3 days and then we did a 4 day “inclusive” for the first time ever. It was Tuesday to Friday. After Tuesday breakfast & a small snack later, I started feeling sick. I was in bed 2 days with food poisoning from the buffet…..not sure what. Missed 2 planned dinners at night because I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t believe it happened at Pacifica & the buffet—-darn. Wasted my money as I ate very little that week. The accommodations were very nice & the weather was perfect. We don’t participate in the theatre or gatherings on beach because they are all in Spanish & we can’t understand it. Your entertainment is geared towards Spanish speaking people. The staff are very friendly and nice and we had no other complaints.

Housekeeping (Mariana and Guadalupe) have been great. Food has been good. Rooms are comfortable enough. We could use more washcloths and hand towels but we make do. But please don’t make it a point to assure guests of laundry facilities when I’ve had to sit here for hours to keep letting the dryer cool off and start again for 6 minutes at a time. Very frustrating. And don’t get me started on the WiFi!!!

Service is good, but your computer system is too old and not good. The fixture in the new Aqua 2 is already start to broken and the noise control (insolation) between unites are very bad. You moved the mini-mart to a remote place which make it very incontinent.
