Hidden Gem - Rustic Inn

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Rustic Inn is the perfect spot for couples or families looking for a mix of hotel/resort amenities and the charm of a Jackson cabin. We stayed here in January in Cabin 101 (be sure to book a cabin facing the river or mountains) and couldn’t have been happier with the exceptional service, the convenient proximity to downtown Jackson, and the concierge team’s help with booking excursions. A special shoutout to Kevin, who was fantastic! He gave us excellent tips on what to do during our visit and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. Thank you, Kevin! We’ll definitely be back to Jackson and won’t hesitate to stay at Rustic Inn again!

2 stars at best

Front office staff were rude and unhelpful. The pool and hot tub area need an upgrade, water was not hot in the hot tub. The rooms were clean but dark and outdated. The bathroom was very cold, no heat in the area where the toilet room is. The hot water doesnt come very quickly and doesn't get very hot. The breakfast was very mediocre. Most of the items were cold and hard. For winter stays I would not recommend because you have to go outside in the cold to use any of the facilities, eat breakfast, etc. Also the steam room is falsely advertised because you have to pay for a massage to be able to use. Not family friendly at all.

Amazing place

Booked a Cabin at first, which was very nice but decided to upgrade to a 2 bedroom at their Spa Suites. Jesse, Jake and Dania were great in helping with the upgrade. Checked into the 2 bedroom and oh wow, what a beautiful suite. Ivan at the spa Suites was awesome, helped with activities, shuttles, area info. and anything else we needed. Ivan helped take our trip from Very good to Great and we will come back to Rustic Inn again, I highly recommend this resort. Don Denton and Family , stayed 1-3-25 to 1-9-25

Great location and attentive staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in a cabin by the creek. It was well furnished and the bed was comfortable. It was great watching the deer and water fowl outside the room. The hot tub, pool and sauna were very enjoyable in Jan, with snow falling. The shuttle to town was a real convenience, considering the parking, roads and single-digit temps in Jackson in Jan. All of the staff were attentive and professional. They could do a bit better job clearing ice from the sidewalks, and put some healthier selections on the breakfast buffet. We come to Jackson most winters. It was out first time staying here, and we will likely come back to it!

So not waste your money!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Do not waste your money. The manager, Jessie will probably try and respond to this review blaming everyone except himself. Customer service is low on the priority list at this resort. We had nothing but problems here except for the young lady and young man who work in the office during the day. They were friendly at all times. On Dec. 29th the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Several guests tried to call the front desk but no one answered. After 15 minutes.. still no response from office staff, fire department, or police department. One guest finally reset the alarm after guests checked all floors in the building. The second day here we had no hot water. It was finally repaired after several hours. Our heat never shut off or worked properly. We woke up at 2:00 am on Dec. 30 with the thermostat reading 86 degrees. The repair guys came the next day and said it was repaired. It was not. We just had another fire alarm on Jan. 1st. A message went out stating that all was clear that a guest left the door open to the steam room. The management always puts the blame on anyone except themselves. Nothing but problems at this resort with the management being money hungry and non-accommodating. I’m sure several fire codes were broken when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.
