The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place

Overall, our stay was beyond expectation! My husband and I gave it a 10! Our 5-year-old son gave it 9.3 😁. When I asked why, he said it's because the swimming pool (1.2m) was a bit too deep for him (there was no kids pool). But he was so impressed by the automatic toilet 😁. The room was huge. My husband and I were so impressed by the Housekeeping Team (Cipto & ...). It was a nice surprise to see they added more water bottles when they saw my meds/vitamins on the table and they also put mini tablecloth under my stuff in the bathroom. Kudos to them! 👍👍 Club Lounge F&B: I was impressed by the Pastry Chef and Team who made this Raspberry Tart (and other pastries with tart). The tart itself is heavenly! I experienced what we call "foodgasm" 😋. Another dish that was super delicious was the Peking Duck! My husband and I just kept coming back for more. For the constructive feedback: the AC panel in the room (2109) has a light that stays on. At night when it was completely dark, that light became so bright that it annoyed my son and me. I tried to find sleep-mode button, but I couldn't find it. Maybe it's better to put sleep-mode button sign that is easily access by guests, or cover the light button with something. Another thing is the dress code in the Club Lounge. Although it was already stated on the print-out, some people still wore bathroom slippers from the room, flip-flop, and shorts when they were in the Club Lounge. This is not Ritz-Carlton standard. Covered sandals are okay for children under 7, but for adults? They should know better, in my opinion. Hopefully RCJPP can do something about this in the future.

The Ritz Carlton Pacific Place hotel is located in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) and is connected to the Pacific Place mall. You can reach it by using the MRT (alighting at the Istora Mandiri stop). We stayed here during New Year's Eve and celebration as we wanted to have a good view of the fireworks as the rooms are located on the 21st floor onwards. It's quite unique as it only has 60+ rooms so it is actually not quite big. We were hesitant to reserve it as the price category is on the luxury site, but after staying there, we understood why. I Taking this into consideration, we found out that the emphasis is on the personalized service they provide. This materialized through a couple of things 1) During Pre-stay process we had a couple of minor incidents, which we escalated and the hotel resolved it quite quickly and satisfactory, 2) During the stay, the hotel staff ensured that we had a comfortable stay (be it on the room, amenities, or even meals at the Club Lounge). From a service perspective i think it's closer to the level of service that St. Regis Bali provides. The view from the rooms and the Club Lounge are very nice, especially during the sunset and at night, which makes the stay during NYE worth it. We would like to thank the hotel staff starting from mrs Audrey Lim, the Loyalty/Guest Recognition team including mr. Ibnu Sutandar, mrs. Rosita, mrs. Rachel, mrs. Natasha, and also the housekeeping staff mr. Adam, mrs. Rara and mrs. Osa for making our stay comfortable and ensuring that it stayed comfortable.

I recently stayed at Ritz Carlton PP Jakarta with my family. We had this big corner room at 2202 with beautiful city view. The bonvoy members can enjoy 5 times meal start from 6am at the 21st floor club lounge that can be acces anytime. The food at club lounge was great, services are exceptional especially Mr Sofyan and Ms Zahra. They even provide a little surprise food for my kids to enjoy at our dinner time, making it memorable. Mr Sofyan also gave my kids a small gift which they cherished. The hotel has access to pacific place mall and near by theres a lot of attraction you can visit with kids such as scbd park, GBK Stadium, Plaza senayan etc. Overall we had wonderfull stay, but it'd be perfect if they have more kids activities or kids club also they need to improve their pool area (make it bigger or make children pool area)
