The Club Hotel & Spa Jersey

Lovely anniversary weekend made extra special by the amazing staff. Service across the whole hotel and spa was welcoming, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed a good sized suite and found the bed really comfortable. The room was clean and tidy with nice touches like mini madeleine. Best stocked mini bar in years! Outside pool area was lovely but the inside spa facilities were a little tired. Bohemia Bar had a relaxing vibe and served great food and drinks. Overall, a lovely weekend and we'll definitely be visiting again.

We absolutely loved the hotel. We were welcomed with bubbly and a tour. The decor was modern, cool and stylish. The pool terrace was beautiful, with comfortable loungers and waiter service. The food in the bar restaurant and breakfast lounge was excellent…..Prosecco with breakfast!! Best of all, the staff were lovely, so friendly and caring.

We have stayed in Jersey many times but this was the first time at The Club, I will condense our five days. Rooms - tired, bulbs not working in bathroom and bedroom. Flat duvets and pillows . Got blanket from wardrobe and it was covered in dust and hairs. No Air conditioning. Spa - Dirty, many tiles missing from pool and steam room, salt room not working and emergency stop covered in tape. A used plaster was there for the whole of our stay. Staff - Some nice staff, some haughty some lovely. Breakfast - Poor, poached eggs not cooked, sausage underdone, poor presentation. We would not return and would not recommend this hotel as it is.

We arrived in the dark and were helped in with our luggage. The room service dishes we ordered were excellent and the pillows and beds were extremely comfortable. The next day a contractor advised Mr Phillips, the general manager, that my car had a puncture. Mr Phillips took control by arranging for someone to call, assess whether the tyre could be repaired and, if not, fit a new one. We adjourned to the pool and steam room for the afternoon. The replacement tyre was fitted and the cost added to our bill. All the staff - hotel and bar - were welcoming and polite. Food in the bar was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 5 nights, as part of a Secret Escapes package (AKA Club Escapes), nicely located and a short walk from the main area of St Hellier (walk up Green Street and into the main area not down and via the vehicle Tunnel), Club is also on a bus route. Things letting the hotel down - had to ask for the Honesty Gin bar to be refreshed with tonic water (speedily resolved); the extensive minibar didn't have a price list (quickly supplied) smoking outside - on the main restaurant terrace - wafts into open windows in bedrooms on the front of the building; and Friday and Saturday evenings the street outside can be very noisy as clubs/bars empty and vehicle traffic increases. Terrace bar needed better service... Good things - extensive and well stocked mini bar and personal sundries. Neat and tidy rooms, well cleaned and serviced. I get the comments by some reviewers about the low sink but didn't bother us - and we have had low sinks in other hotels. Breakfast, again extensive hot and cold range, but 2 mornings the service was inconsistent. Prosecco included .... Had one meal in the bar on the Monday night, lovely range to suit all tastes and diets. Eat in the Bohemia Restaurant on the Saturday night - superb, separate review, book in advance. Key thing - would we return here - yes. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the spa area - too busy out and about. All staff were welcoming and professional.
