Umaid Bhawan Palace

We had the most fascinating experience touring Umaid Bhawan last week. The staff was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable, giving detailed history of the palace, its rooms and lawns. The palace is magnificent and splendid, a must visit if you are in Jodhpur. We were given welcome drinks as well. The traditional Rajasthani song dance performance was worth remembering and capturing on camera. A big, special thanks to the staff members, Surendra Rajveer, Ms Malvika, Bhupendra, Nishu who ensured we had a lovely time.

We planned the palace stay as a marriage anniversary celebration. Though it seemed exorbitant, we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. We reached Jodhpur at 9.45 Am, and when we called the reception, we were welcome to check in right away. Since the hotel is close to the Airport, we were at the palace by 10Am. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded suit room. The room was beautiful and spacious with a huge, luxurious bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty. The hotel has a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool as well, that was really awesome. The beautiful garden view with peacocks around is really breathtaking. The hotel gracefully allowed for a late checkout as well. The staff were extremely polite and really pampered us. Our special thanks to the reception staff, Sikander, Swaroop singh, Surendra, Alka, Malvika,Nishu,and Karan singh.

What and experience to be at one pf the best palace hotel, amazing staff, amazing food, great housekeeping, hospitality by F&B service was its best. I would like to mention great service by Prem, ganga, jabber, karan, swaroop, narendra and berisjhal...

Magnificent Palace converted to into super luxury hotel that has par excellence service by royally decked, polite and courteous staff. It was an amazing experience to enjoy delectable cuisines in this grand marvel of architecture Palace. Our experience was made memorable by superb and most courteous service by Surendra, Rajveer, , Malvika , Bhupendra and Nishu. This experience will remain our sweet memories till our next visit to the coveted Palace.

It was really a magical place. Sikander Singh went way out of his way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. He even offered to take photos as I am a solo traveler. His photography skills are amazing and I left with some really good and memorable shots. Wonderful Chef’s prepared each meal to perfection,Chain Singh the doorman was great. Most of the stuff was very polite and hospitable. Tip: The departure should be as pleasant as the welcome😊
