Umaid Bhawan Palace

From attending the maharaja’s birthday party to enjoying a private music and dance performance, we felt like visiting royalty for the duration of our stay. The property is magnificent and our suite was well appointed and extremely comfortable.

I had the pleasure of staying in Room 500, the Maharani Suite, while styling the bride for her wedding at Umaid Bhavan. My experience was absolutely wonderful, and a special thanks goes to Malvika, who was an exceptional butler. She was efficient, prompt, and incredibly polite, ensuring that all our needs and requests were met seamlessly. Her attentiveness truly enhanced my stay. A heartfelt thank you to Malvika and the entire Umaid Bhavan staff for their warm hospitality. I’m already looking forward to returning soon!

FANTASTIC - SUPERB! From installation to food, service & hospitality - a wonderful experience! After having spent 3 nights @ SIX SENSES (more like SICK SENSES) what a pleasant surprise - felt like 1000 SENSES! Although installations are relatively new I felt like a king at this palace! Luckily we were there during the kings birthday + BUDDHIST NEW YEAR - 1st full moon of the year, where a huge party was set up for over 400 people - quite an experience to observe. Excellent health spa where both my wife and I had a wonderful 90 min massage. Superb service - especially from Saddique & Karan during meals. The tour led by Ritika showing us the premises (superb gym facilities) and gardens was an exquisite experience! Superb hotel

I and my wife had gone to celebrate our wedding anniversary and once we arrived our pampering started. we had an extraordinary time at the hotel. On arrival Aniket welcomed us graciously and Sikander took us to our rooms and later took us around the property and explained us while taking our photos. During breakfast Karan Saddique and the chef Shobhit took care of us extremely well. Also Rajveer, Surendra, Rawal, Tribhuwan, Malvika, Nishu who care of us and others as well in case we have forgotten the names. Also our wedding anniversary was celebrated by the in room dining team and by the team member Swaroop Singh with a cake and a small ceremony for which we were thrilled. It was one of our best experiences in our lives.

The palace can’t be expressed in words. You have to spend to experience it. The stay started with a royal welcome and classic Rajasthani dhol. The place has lots of activities - kite flying, cookie making, feather hunt, palace tour, etc to keep you engaged for the evening. If you have booked Umaid Bhawan, just forget the city and enjoy the palace. The palace is an ideal location for capturing photos both during day and night. Food is awesome. Chef Shobhit Karan had manager Sangram Singh really made our stay memorable with their servings and service. It is heavy on the pocket, but worth it. Cons - at these prices, Taj palaces should offer complementary pickup / drop from airport/railway station, for which they charge extra.
