With an array of lovely, ample-sized rooms replete with lavish marble baths and jutting balconies, each guest chamber gazes upon the neighboring zoological gardens or an enchanting courtyard encased within the resort. Thoughtful touches such as butler stations and heated towel racks are standard amenities here. It's one of the most amazing places and Services I’ve ever received. The place is super clean, the spaces amazing, and the views awesome. The concierge super attentive. They got us all the reservations we needed, saved us with some basics I forgot. And overall, the attention was at the level one expects from the Four Seasons.

Amazing place! The Four Seasons did not disappoint. The restaurant staff, the reception staff, bell hops, the spa staff, and the room service attendants were all wonderful! Room was cleaned to perfection. The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We ended up there every morning of our stay and 3 out of the 4 evenings for dinner. I had an amazing spa experience (The African Treatment), it was so relaxing. And, the staff at the hotel front desk and the bell hops were always quick to help, so friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place because of the staff. The grounds and the rooms are great but the staff is what made this trip truly amazing!

I spent one night at the four seasons with my dog. The service was absolutely amazing. Room was very clean. The staff were so friendly. They even laid out a bed with treats for my dog. I was anxious to leave her in the room alone when I went out but she was perfectly safe and fine. In room dining was so amazing ,the attention to detail. The breakfast was devine with such a selection and the views were incredible. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended if are going for solo vacay and travelling with pets

This was our first stay at a Four Seasons anywhere in the world. We stayed 3 nights and decided on here as we wanted to relax and feel safe in a town that we were uncertain about. We left feeling like family. I cannot rave enough about the service of every single staff member we encountered. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. If the location puts you off- Ubers are 1 - 2 minutes away and the top restaurants in Joburg were within a 12 minute drive. Rooms were spacious with a huge bathroom. Beds were super comfortable and most importantly rooms were quiet. To the Four Seasons- Thank you for taking such good care of us while staying with you.

Room unimpressive and outdated. TV remote non-functional. Bath water light brown in colour. Staff inattentive. Breakfast freshness and quality poor. Arrived impromptu and asked for best rate. Was charged R6 950.00 for the night when the rates on Booking.com were advertised as R3 975.00 per night. Asked if hotel was full and was told it was not. Entire experience was impersonal. Room was outdated and hotel reception has not seen an upgrade for several years. Bed was small and short and not fit for a tall person (1.90 metres). Views impeded and diminished by construction ongoing at hotel. Flames staff inattentive and uniformed regarding wines and menu as usual. Breakfast buffet had old recycled food on offer and staff in kitchen were standing around chatting. Generally a very poor experience and will not do it again.
