About the Hotel

Whether you're swimming in the company of sea creatures or just watching them from your villa suspended over the sea, water is a way of life at One&Only Reethi Rah. Few islands in the Maldives are more idyllic or spacious than the one that houses this decadent compound, where a dozen beaches – that's right, 12 of them – beckon from villas with cathedral ceilings and shaded verandahs, some with a private plunge pool. A chic boutique sells Stella McCartney swimwear you’ll love to flaunt, and sommelier Jean Sebastien Azaïs oversees one of the largest wine cellars in the world – some 30,000 bottles, ranging from rare Bordeaux to boutique South African labels.

Paradise is calling!

Had such an amazing time. The food & service was excellent and the views are unmatched. The Tapasake restaurant is by far a favourite, beautiful place for a drink at sunset and incredible food. The spa was amazing, service was great and we were well taken care of. We had a wonderful time and will be returning.

THE BEST PLACE IN MALDIVES😍

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

One of the best experiences in my life😍 It was my 4th time in Maldives and I can say that it’s the best hotel to stay in. Island is very big and you can’t get bored there. Many activities. But first of all beautiful beaches, warm ocean and hot sun! What else you need to be happy?😊 Of course food. There are a few different restaurants for any taste. I personally enjoyed teppanyaki! If you want to relax fully try their spa. Won’t be disappointed. I wanna go back because it’s super cold outside in my city😩

Paradise on earth

I stayed in the One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives recently, and it was extraordinary! This island is a paradise! True magic, with white sand beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, rich nature greenery. Our villa had a private pool, stunning ocean view, and direct access to the beach — it truly felt like our own little haven The restaurants serve a wide range of delicious cuisines, from Mediterranean to Asian food, and everything is made with the freshest ingredients. But my favourite must be breakfast! Oh my God! Breakfast at One&Only Reethi Rah is an experience that sets the tone for a perfect day in paradise. The service was amazing, with staff going above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. This was an unforgettable vacation in the Maldives and I can't wait to return!

Reethi Rah

The resort used to be amazing but is now getting tired although still maybe the best island / beaches etc. The big let down was the food. Really very poor considering the price. The breakfast buffet seemed extensive but in reality there was not that much choice & the quality was just awful. I've been to many Maldive resorts & this has the best island but by far the worst food.

Felt Undervalued as Guests at a Luxury Resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Our overall experience at the resort left us with mixed feelings. While the setting is beautiful and the breakfast was generally enjoyable, there were several aspects that fell short of our expectations for a luxury resort. Firstly, the quality of the sand near the villa was disappointing; it felt rough and prickly, which detracted from the beach experience. Additionally, the service from our initial butler was not up to par compared to other Maldivian resorts we’ve visited, such as Joali. At Joali, our butler proactively arranged a schedule and made restaurant reservations in advance, ensuring we didn’t miss out on popular dining experiences. Unfortunately, your first butler made no such effort. As a result, we were unable to secure a spot at the Chinese restaurant, and it felt like there was little interest in making our stay smooth and hassle-free. However, we would like to note that our second butler, Taya, performed her duties much better. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made a genuine effort to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Her professionalism was greatly appreciated and made a noticeable difference in our experience. The quality of the coffee drinks at breakfast was also disappointing. Both the cappuccino and latte were overly bitter, even when ordered with a single shot. Additionally, the foam was poorly made and unappealing. Coffee is an important part of the breakfast experience for us, and this fell far below expectations. Lastly, we couldn’t shake the feeling that the resort doesn’t prioritize its guests. Perhaps this is because of its popularity, but we didn’t feel valued or treated as special guests, which is something we’ve come to expect from such a high-end resort. I hope you take this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for future guests. Thank you.
