We chose this stay as Top Supporters of the nearby HERD center where we met my fostered elephant. YouTube videos can not give the Lodge and staff the praise both deserve. Everything was superlative during our 3-day stay. Each unit is set to be invisible to others, yet the walk from central facilities is short and very pleasant. We were met at the airport by our driver / guide who was also our personal "caretaker" for our daily activities. He assured us he could adjust the day to our preferences, but he was so good we had none to make. Everyone on staff was attentive and clearly attuned to providing us the best experiences possible. We completed our Big 5 checklist here after missing rhino and leopard the prior two weeks in four tent camps in other countries. There is nothing we could suggest to make Jabulani Lodge a better experience. (Our perspective reflects travels to 71 countries. We are in our late 70s.)

My wife and I spent three unforgettable days at Jabulani Camp. The grounds are great and Villa Sompane is simply magnificent. Our ranger told us a lot about the animals and the park and thanks to him we had the pleasure of being able to observe numerous animals. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the leopard eating his impala breakfast on a branch. A big thank you to the chef and his team, who spoiled us with culinary delights, as well as the many good helpers behind the scenes. The surprise on our wedding day remains unforgettable! We are enthusiastic about this camp and can recommend it to all interested parties.

We returned to this fabulous property because of previous brilliant visits. It‘s convenient to reach from Cape Town with a direct flight. Exceptional friendly helpful team members, wonderful food, great dining locations, excellent game viewing, spacious, comfortable suites, great location and amazing work done with The Herd - caring for orphan elephants & rhinos!
