Ocean Key Resort & Spa

Outstanding in every way! The staff, the room, the view, the food, the dinks and the pool all top notch. Clean and comfortable room that was recently updated. Location can’t be beat in Old Town within walking distance of many bars, restaurants and the seaport.

The service is amazing and the location is unbeatable. Ocean views. Right at Duval, but away from the noise and insanity when you are ready to rest. Walking distance to tons of great food and shopping options. On top of that, Hot Tin Roof was one of the better places we ate. The food and service were always great and we loved dining looking over the water.

What a great place to stay! Great location, near the action (Duval) but not too near. Service was a “10” as was concierge. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed. Onsite restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was very good. Check in and Check Out was fast and billing was accurate.

Spent five days and four nights in at the Ocean Key Resort & Spa. This was our second stay, having been there 11 years ago. This time we decided to take advantage of the spa services. Calling what they have a "spa" is a real stretch! Only a couple of treatment rooms. No sauna, steam, relaxation area or locker rooms. The photos online make it appear much more like a spa than it actually is. While our massages were very good, the overall experience was a letdown. And the "gym" too is pathetic for a "resort". Three or four machines stuffed into what looks to have perhaps been a hotel room, is what you will get. All other elements of our stay were excellent. The hospitality of the front desk staff. The welcome Rum Punch. Their location at the bottom of Duval Street, right on sunset pier and Mallory Square, can't be beat! The food and service at the Hot Tin Roof was very good. Even the pool, while small, is enjoyable and the service there too was excellent. So, if you are not interested in any spa services and don't plan to workout, then the Ocean Key is for you. But if you want a true spa and/or workout facility, you should look elsewhere.

My husband and I checked into the ocean key resort on a Friday and checked out on a Monday and I am absolutely shocked they could charge this much for a accommodations considering that there are so many issues First of all the rooms are maybe a little bit better than a Holiday Inn express for $1400 a night. The staff especially the housekeeping does not speak English so if you ask for anything good luck if it actually shows up If you’re looking for a luxury accommodations, please take my advice and do not stay here!! Also be aware that there are cruise ships that are right outside the harbor that will wake you up in the morning along with the Maid stuff because the walls are paper thin.
