From the valet to the front desk check-in and the service at the restaurant, all amazing! Candice in the restaurant was not our server. She saw us waiting for our server that was nowhere to be found. Even though she was busy with her customers she jumped in. She took our drink order first on us or coffee water. Our server still does not appear so she took our order and became our server. She was absolutely amazing!! I'm thankful for her because that would have left a wonderful overnight stay with a disappointing finish.. we also did appetizers and cocktails in the evening at the restaurant and I wish I would have gotten our server's name. He was absolutely amazing as well very knowledgeable and friendly. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

I’ve stayed here many times before and usually had a pleasant enough stay. However this time was enough to put me off staying here again. Firstly, upon arrival I found the restaurant and bar closed for “refurbishment” for the first three days of my stay. Although quite what they’ve done is beyond me, as it pretty much looks the same as it ever did. There was no notification of the closure when I booked, nor anywhere prominently on their website (eventually I found it buried deep on their website). Secondly, customer service here has plummeted. Despite asking every single day for my room to be serviced (you have to ask, rather than it being a standard offering), it wasn’t done at least three times during my stay. Finally, on the last night of my stay, the restaurant and bar was closed again for a “private function”. Again, without notice. Again, no alternative offered for residents. Note that room rates are not adjusted for their lack of service or provision. This is very poor form. I have another reservation here in January and I’m seriously considering cancelling and finding somewhere else, based on this experience. Very disappointing.

Perfect place for a last minute getaway! The room was so comfortable and the staff were so welcoming! The only thing that would have made it better would be a waterfront room. :) The Heathman is walking distance to many shops, cafes and lake Washington. Loved our short visit!

The best location and a friendly warm staff. Everything is first class - from the bed to the food. You can walk everywhere but it is always nice to come back to the warm welcoming lobby.
