Wonderful Holidays on Koh Phanghan island in the Kupu Kupu Phanghan Beach Villas and Spa by l'Occitane Hotel. Great place, great Hotel for our second stay in Kupu Kupu. Excellent location - Excellent food - Excellent staff Paradisiac stay in this hotel Special mention to the Restaurant team, warming our holidays with great service, sincere smiles, 24h politness and good advices. Thank you to Andy, our concierge, for his efficiency, kindness and touristic advices. Also another special big and warmful Thank You to the Burma & Thai team :-), eg. No-noe, Ad-min, Foam, Saen and Jojo. These fives made our holidays perfect. Always welcoming with perfect french sentences and feeling us like at home. It was always a pleasure to see them and chat with them. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS. You are great. We don't want to forget the other stuff members, especially in the Restaurant: Aek, Tik, and Bank, always friendly and nice. We have not met the cooks, but these guys deserve also some words because the proposal menus are five stars. Great job Kupu Kupu. We will definitely book again and come back for a third stay. See you soon.

the location of this is simply beautiful; a beachside room (with lots of privacy) gives access to the beach (granted with high tide, you can jump into the sea directly ), watching the most beautiful sunsets from your deck (with small swimming pool) overlooking the beach and the sea. The room itself is extremely spacious, everything works perfectly. some items could be upgraded a bit, like the outside deck chair/table, but it is all functional. The breakfast and food is great (lots of choice, all fresh) and with some modest entertainment in the evening as well pretty cool to sit outside overlooking the beautiful pool/beach area. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, from San at breakfast, Andy at reception and extremely kind No-Noe during evening dinner.

It is a magic place to visit. I have been here 4 years in row, and I am enjoying it. We are always a lot of friends staying at Kupu Kupu. Why it’s not getting the fifth star is because the owners don’t do anything to maintain the place, and the resort is having a lot of scars. And if you have to be a 5 star resort it has to stay sharp. But why it should have 5 stars, is because of the staff. Pla is such a god host, and are always on the top of his game. Tik is a fabulous server, with always a smile and excellent service, foam is making the best coffee, Sun is making the best eggs you can get. San has the biggest smile you can get, and the nicest personality. Andy is always there for you, when you have to arrange trips or boats. He is such service minded person. That is worth coming back for, we are definitely coming back, but hope the owners will step up and maintain the resort.

Beautiful hotel with great service .The villas are nice and the view is perfect .The staff was highly commited to serve every need and special thanks to a young guy name Nono for his service in the breakfast and during the day.They have transportation from tong sala pier and they where very helpful in helping with transportation around the Island .We will come back .

My Wife Georgie & I just finished our wonderful 7 day stay at Kupu Kupu villas, I can honestly say hand on heart that was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had (and we have stayed at a lot of nice places) The setting is beautiful, tranquil and absolutely perfect for relaxing. Positioned perfectly with a semi private beach & shallow waters which are serene & very warm. The rooms & amenities are all fantastic, incredibly clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The food was exceptional as was the service all round (if you're staying for 7 + days, the menu might get a little repetitive, but Koh P people go out alot also) The staff were all incredibly friendly and went out of there way to look after us across the week. We would like to give special mention to San, Bank and especially Admin who was absolutely incredible with us all week, we felt very well looked after and were made to feel we were given a personal touch. One of the most special aspects of the hotel is it feels so incredibly private, every villa was booked up whilst we were there, but the pool and sun loungers were never overused which created a very private & relaxing setting. We will 100% be coming back to stay here, I have already recommended to multiple friends! Thank you
