Conrad Koh Samui

Idyllic resort on the most magical of islands. My husband and I stayed 11 blissful nights at the Conrad in a sunset room #112. It is hard to describe the beauty of this island and its people, we believe the Conrad captures more beauty than your mind and heart have ever seen. The view of the five islands is stunning and the sunset every night... incomparable. As many have said the resort team is the true standout, gracious, kind, professional, helpful and they do a world's class job at making guests feel at home in a foreign country. We felt like family by the time we left. thanks to Jigy, Oscar, the pool bar team and the front desk team, and the beach guys.Housekeeping team are stars!! The breakfast team, outstanding, always smiling and welcoming, perfect way to start the day. They will know your coffee order after day one. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel seen and cared for. Special love to Jigy who went above and beyond to make our vacation one of the best we have ever had and she certainly is the kindness person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing. I look forward to our next visit. many thanks Jigy. 1) airport is darling, save extra time when you depart to enjoy it! Cafes, shops, massage, bean bag chairs on the lawn to watch planes land, and there is a lounge, priority pass gets you in. Food cooked to order, wine, beer and other treats, most of all it has AC. 2) just garb a taxi at Sami airport when you arrive or arrange through Conrad before your trip. Don't stress about this, It was 1,200 baht for a taxi from airport, you can use credit car, they charge you more and they definitely prefer cash 3) cash-exchange at BKK airport, Botton level has best exchange rate. You need more cash than you think, 4) connect with a driver and if you like them get their WhatsApp info. to schedule future trips, negotiate price before you get into the taxi, we found one driver and used him the entire time. more than fair prices, always on time, great comfortable clean car, small SUV. His prices were fair. his name is-Non +66 84 306 4405 on WhatsApp. You are welcome he is a gem! 5) book before you go KohPac restaurant, it is at least an hour away allow 1 hour 15 minutes, or check your phone. In the jungle, magical and romantic setting, prix fixed dinner. 10 outstanding dishes, warm hospitality, and memorable evening. Dress up.Not required but this place deserves your effort. Hotel 1) every single room is amazing, I can't imagine being disappointed with any room, so do not stress trying to score an upgrade, seriously every room is great. The pool in your villa is heaven and all of equal size, relax and let the island do its magic. 2) the bathtub in your villa is enormous! they provide bath salts. We brought a few bath bombs from home. 3) take advantage of the pillow menu, best pillow I have ever had at a resort. 4) breakfast, AMAZING, fresh, delicious, varied, lots of options. pistachio croissants are a stand out as are the pork skewers, fresh tropical fruits, curry was great. eggs to order etc. fresh coconut water too. 5) private beach, it was perfect having a beach to access easily without leaving resort, yes it is a little rocky. Water is beautiful and warm. They have hammocks and a swing to enjoy, free snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards. ***Small suggestions-If they cleaned up the beach really well, like a deep clean, there is some debris, plastic stuff etc, washed up...brought in some soft sand and raked it every morning and maintained it, it would be unreal. I really hope they make this change as the beach definetly needs some love to make it better. Others have noted this as well. 6) do the farm tour, the guys leading the tour could not have been more knowledgeable, and took great pride in their accomplishments of the farm. Super informative and fun. Fresh fruit at the end. 7) we signed up for every class offered, they are great! especially making Thai inhalers. Sign up early as space is limited. 8) Gym is awesome, good size, everything you need. 9) I would pack a few snacks or stop at the store on your way to resort 10) you are in a remote area, you need a taxi to get anywhere. 11) also highlight for us-although there were some kids, it is. mostly adults and respectful ones at that, not a party hotel (thank goodness) tranquil and relaxing. 12) visit pig island, it was fun and we enjoyed the long tail boat ride, We booked a private tour, allowed us to stop at another island and snorkel, and we were not on a "group schedule," ideal for us. 13) lastly-they do a great job recognizing Diamond status upon check in. Quite simply 5* throughout! We have just gotten back from a 7 night stay here. We stayed in a 2 bed ocean view family villa (505) and had such and had such an amazing time. From the beginning the staff were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable with a real warmth that felt genuine. The breakfast is incredible, with plenty of choice. the staff make a real effort to get to know you and what you like. We had our two sons with us - best described as energetic - and the staff were consistently interacting with them and getting to know them. The villas were HUGE and you get a lot for your money. The WhatsApp guest relations service, again, excellent and very communicative. Big shout out to Khem and Son who took us to Pig Island, they were fab, Pui gave me the best pedicure, Minnie who looked after us at breakfast each morning was a star. Then also Chana, Opal, Mene, Ian and Mary. What a team you have Marco! We were so impressed to have booked to go back in a few months. Both our boys were crying when they left and we have never had that before. Thanks for a magical time! Oh and the boys say hello to Xim the cat!

We spent two nights during Songkran 2026. The view from this property is truly the definition of 'picturesque'—whether from the lobby, the room, or the dining venue. The afternoon sun was a bit too strong to keep the curtains open, but the sunset view more than made up for it. The staff were very friendly, efficient, and hospitable. A couple of small details kept this property from earning a full five-star review from me: • The turndown service was perfectly done on the first night, but absent on the second. • During breakfast on the second day, one of the staff members took a chair from our table for other guests. While we didn’t mind, it was done without asking or acknowledging our presence, which was surprising to see at a hotel with otherwise well-trained staff

I chose the Conrad Koh Samui to see the stunning sunset and wasn't disappointed. An hour's taxi from the airport to the south western tip of the island finds the Conrad peacefully secluded. My room(villa) with its own infinity pool had a view of the Five Islands was 100m from the Aow Thai restaurant where I had both dinner & breakfast. I also joined the coffee roasting experience & took a delightful tour around the Iris farm & helpef feed a wide variety of animals (chickens. buffalo, tortoise, goats). I'll definitely return.

An exceptional property, well appointed rooms and incredible views. On top of that, a staff that are always helpful available and focused on the guest experience. A great food offering, and the selection of activities is broad and engaging. In particular, the wellness focus is strong - did a breath work session with a local expert Allen Lottman which the hotel offered which was transformational, alongside other distractions like coffee roasting, karaoke and a movie night. More of a coastal location than a true beach - think pools instead of the ocean.
