Conrad Koh Samui

The Conrad @ Koh Samui consistently knows what you need before you do — and that’s not a cliché here, it’s literal. A special mention to Bill, our assigned concierge, who was exceptional. He sent breakfast unprompted on a morning we mentioned skipping it, had buggy rides ready before we asked, and suggested activities with perfect timing. Bill operated a step ahead of us the entire stay without ever feeling intrusive. We felt genuinely taken care of. The clifftop setting facing the Five Islands is breathtaking, the villa was superb, and the grounds never felt crowded. Dining at Jahn was a highlight — when our lamb chops arrived dry, the chef proactively sent out a complimentary dessert without us saying a word. On our final morning, the team prepared a takeaway breakfast box for our early flight, again unprompted. A few honest notes: beach gets flies in the late afternoon, midday heat limits beach time, and buggy waits can stretch during peak periods. We’ll absolutely return — in cooler season, and for longer!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We already had high expectations for a Conrad as we have stayed at our fair share of them in the Asia region these last few years. Conrad Koh Samui exceeded every and any expectation we had. From the moment our transfer dropped us off from the airport until our departure from the Conrad Koh Samui, the staff were absolutely phenomenal. My man Bill throughout our entire stay took care of us and ensured we had everything we needed whenever he saw us. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa for a modest fee and it was well worth it and we would do it again no questions asked. Our villa was nothing short of amazing and our daughters never wanted to leave as it had everything we needed and more. If anything I was somewhat bummed that we scheduled out of resort excursions as it took away time from being at this resort. The food was next level, the drinks were amazing, and the service was 👌🔥🔥🔥 If we didn’t have another stay coming up at Conrad Bangkok and activities we could not cancel we would have extended our stay. We will be coming back as soon as we we can. Some things to consider: Make sure you don’t need dinner reservations. One night we went to Azure without a reservation, the second night we tried to go they said we needed one, we didn’t know this. We opted for in-villa dining and the food was great. Due to the unique location and how the resort is setup you need to be transported via golf cart everywhere on property. If you have the time, take the complimentary Iris Farm tour; we absolutely loved it. Lastly, the kids club was geared to younger kids however our 11 year old was still entertained. Most touristy spots and shopping are on the other side of the island and are 45 min to an hour away. Closest 7/11 is 10 min away (small and very limited).

Our stay at Conrad Koh Samui was truly magical. The villas are a dream – the private infinity pools and the 180-degree view of the 'Five Islands' are breathtaking. The level of privacy is unmatched. We were especially impressed by their sustainability: 70% of the food is grown in their own garden, and you can taste the quality. The Farm Tour with Daniele was a highlight; his passion for the project is inspiring. He also brightened our mornings at breakfast with his kind soul. A huge thank you to our Concierge Nan, who coordinated our stay perfectly behind the scenes. The entire staff is 'mega friendly' and Room Service was always on point – fast and precise. For constructive feedback on a very high level: Breakfast could be a bit better organized. Empty dishes sometimes stayed on the table too long, and our espresso order was forgotten on more than one occasion, requiring 2-3 reminders. Also, pricing for extras is quite steep (300 THB for extra salami on a pizza is a lot, even for a luxury resort). However, these are minor details compared to the overall experience. The positives far outweigh the negatives. We would check back in tomorrow if we could! Highly recommended.

The Conrad Koh Samui looked amazing in the pictures but was even better in reality. From the moment we turned the corner to the reception, the views took our breath away. When we reached our room, we felt like we were in a paradise all of our own. The views are matched only by the warmth of the staff. We would like to say a special thanks to Minnie and Sanah whose warm smiles and friendly, welcoming demeanour made our stay so much more enjoyable. We stayed four nights and will definitely return. I would highly recommend the Conrad Koh Samui for anyone looking for ultimate relaxation in a secluded, idyllic setting.
