The contrast between the deep tropical wood enveloping the villas at Conrad Koh Samui and the bright azure sea it overlooks is striking. From this hilly vantage point, surrounded by rainforest, guests preside over the famous Five Islands of Koh Samui. In the late 1800s, Koh Samui became a refuge for fishermen, sailors and sea traders seeking shelter from storms and high seas. "Samui," some say, is derived from the Chinese word "saboey," which means "safe haven". More than a century later, the exotic fruits and idyllic weather entice visitors to relax… and stay awhile.

I stayed in Conrad Koh Samui with my hubby, my 12 year-old boy and 16 year-old daughter for a 5 days 4 nights vacation. Our experiences there were absolutely fabulous! We stayed in a 2 bedrooms ocean view villa that everything there were clean, new and comfortable that really make you feel like home - a luxurious home! The villa is spacious, beautiful and the swimming pool is in good size. The ocean view is fascinating. We took lots of great photos with the stunning sunset views. They have 3 very nice restaurants there covering Thai food, mediterranean food and the steak house! All are delicious! They offer room service so we always order afternoon snacks and evening drinks, enjoyed it at the pool side balcony! There are lots of activities offered by the resort like Thai cooking, Thai Boxing, yoga classes, coffee making, tea making, karaoke, SPA, aqua-aerobics, Iris Farm Tour, kayaking, jet skiing, banana boat and snorkelling! The days we visited was quite windy that we could not play jet skiing and banana boat but we managed to participate most activities, amongst all, the SPA, snorkelling and Iris Farm Tour were impressive! As our jet skiing and banana boat got cancelled due to windy weather, their front desk staff - NEW had arranged a tour to the Iris Farm for us instead! In there, we met their farm manager - Bong who told us the story about the Iris Farm, we met lots of lovely little animals like piggies, goats, bulls, hens and roosters. My son and my daughter got chance to try eggs picking and planned their own bamboo and rose apple trees in the farm! I would specifically thanks for their mindful customer service team that make you feel you are really well taken care of! All staffs are very helpful and always serving with smiles! We came across their Resort GM - Marco twice in the Thai Restaurant! I found he always came to chat with hotel guests during breakfast time! He was a truly friendly guy and we were lucky that we could take his buggy ride!! Our overall experiences in Conrad Koh Samui were exquisite! We have already planned to come back again in April next year! Rosa and Family

Excellent location, well maintained property, everything is top of the class specially the attention given by Senior Management Staff members during breakfast time was experienced by us for the first time. There were not many Vegetarian items so they have gone out of the way to suggest options. Staff from reception to restaurant, housekeeping, room service were excellent courteous. Pillow quality could have been improved to make it more fluffier, even mattresses have started sagging a bit. Ants were reappearing around washbasin, so quality of pest control could be improved slightly.

This is my family's second time staying at the Conrad Koh Samui and each time it gets better and better - we can't wait to return for our 3rd visit in the future! What makes this hotel so great is the property: the hotel consists of private villas each with their own private pool. There is also the main pool area and the ocean but we love the privacy and exclusivity of our own villa. The views from the villas are amazing - you can see the crystal clear turquoise waters and uninhabited little islands. The Spa here is also idyllic and is the most gorgeous spa with best views that I've ever been to (and I go to the spas at every hotel). I went to this one multiple times I just couldn't get enough! The food is really delicious too! Aow Thai (formerly Zest- it’s recently undergone an upscale renovation) is the perfect place for their extensive breakfast buffet (so many delicious options of both western and asian cuisine) and it is also delicious for Thai food (or other Asian) for dinner. Jahn Steakhouse I was hesitant to go to at first since as an American we have high end steakhouses everywhere (my husband is from Texas so he knows good steak!) but the quality of beef (from Australia) was outstanding and the steaks were perfectly cooked! All of the side dishes and desserts were also increible! All of the food at the Conrad was so beautifully presented and tasted delicious - from breakfast to dinner everything was a high end experience! They also have fun bar drinks and cocktails too! The service here is also outstanding - highlights include the GM Marco (who has made many great changes and is a big upgrade from the prior GM from when we stayed here back in early 2024 - we also appreciated is how Marco talks to all of the guests during breakfast - you can tell he really cares about providing a top notch experience for all of his guests and we were impressed he remembered our names and details about us). Jigy at the Spa was also very helpful! Wanida Eksamai (Fay) and Boonpa Puttharat (Nina) also went out of their way to make our every wish come true and provide us a seamless, luxury stay with every reservation and booking and transportation taken care of perfectly! We couldn't have asked for better service! We had a wonderful stay and are already planning our next trip!

Stunning views. The perfect location to wind down in for 4 days/nights. Our villa 215 (premium sunset ocean pool villa) was spacious and very clean. Perfect sunset view, could possibly only be surpassed by the villas in the rows partially hidden behind us (infinity pool villas). The property is about an hour's drive from the international airport. It certainly isn't close to anything, but has its own jetty so it might be possible to organise some sort of water taxi/charter if you needed to go elsewhere or arrive other than by road. You can organise a car through CH (which is how we transferred to and fro the airport). We were told the facility used to offer a shuttle service, but this appears to have been deleted. The Staff are wonderful and always cheerful. We were acknowledged by everyone on site regardless of their duties. It also wonderful to learn the business is looking after future generations of hospitality staff by hosting interns as part of their education. Lynn particularly was such a positive, friendly, helpful member and a credit to CH and the Thai hospitality industry. There's a variety of food options, consistently we felt the best one had to be Azure down near the main swimming pool/beach area. From home made pizzas or fish and chips for lunch, to steak at dinner, Staff Members Lynn and Yoogi/Noogi ensured we were well catered for. There was a lot more on offer on the menu, these were our go-to's when dining at Azure. Having a treatment at the Spa is highly recommended. Penny who heads the team is lovely, and understanding of my skin's damage. I didn't get the staff member's name, but had a wonderful massage and facial for 90 minutes. Lemongrass tea was served in the waiting room to take in the view and relax after my treatment finished. And yes those gorgeous lemon grass infused cool towels upon arrival and through out our stay... There's a couple of things we were a bit perplexed about, so hopefully the following helps someone else... In our villa, there was no USB ports to charge our devices. There were 2 older style ports typically used for base phones near the desk area. That was a bit strange as coming from other properties in Thailand, Singapore and Brisbane the USB ports were generally beside the bed/desk areas and part of existing power points. We also couldn't see the TV very well from our bed. Not that the programming was great either, but as one of us had too much sun, when they had enough of reading*, they flicked through what was available, some pay TV options would be an improvement. On our last day we met Marco the GM at breakfast and had a quiet chat about the USB and TV situation. If only we had spoken up beforehand when we met Daniele earlier in our visit, because the TV can be pulled away from the wall and slightly turned towards the bed. At the back of the TV are USB ports to plug your devices in.! More importantly Marco advised that in 2026 all of the villas are being renovated (14 years old now) and a new restaurant was being fitted out and opening just as we departed. These will be exciting and well deserved changes for the Conrad Hilton Koh Samui. Although we thought our villa was in excellent condition, the outdoor furniture left a lot to be desired (think camping from Granny's garage supply... sorry CH but you could do better there.) * Comparing the property to Trisara in Phuket, they have a dedicated library area, this might be worth considering for the CH KS Reno's too. We will return again and highly recommend if you want a relaxing, stress free stay, Conrad Hilton at Samui is the place to be.

Our family had a fantastic time at the resort. The staff were extremely helpful and made everything easy to book and plan. The coffee lesson at Botanika was fun and they accommodated our request for a family kick boxing lesson, which our young kids enjoyed. The Iris farm was a great experience as well. People make the difference, and there are many difference makers here.
