Hansar Samui

Great location with a short stroll to Fisherman's Village. Hotel appears a bit shabby in places and nowhere near as good as the previous hotel we stayed in. I wouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it just doesn't have the type of class or amenities you would expect. I would put it as a 4 star at the most. The staff were great and the pool magnificent but rooms not cleaned well and towels provided each day were often threadbare or stains on them. Worst of all was the awful and distinct smell of moldiness in the room that points to ventilation or air conditioning issues. Coffee/tea facilities in room were poor and the breakfast included was nothing special. The place definitely needs a major renovation.

Wonderful stay! The staff are super helpful and kind. The food at the restaurants are so tasty, the drinks at the bar are wonderful. Room was cleaned regularly which made our stay even better. Would recommend this beautiful resort to anyone looking to have a relaxing time in Koh Samui. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We had 2 rooms for 11 nights. The location and amenities are great, as is the breakfast The service , however, is best described as transactional or indifferent compared to two other resorts I have stayed at in Ko Samui. This was exemplified by no one thanking us for staying when checking out. Great location for New Years eve fireworks

Hansar Samui Resort was a lovely hotel and prime location. Transport pick up for 2 was $18. Staff was helpful, welcoming and friendly. We request a high floor and extra pillows and that's what we got. The outdoor balcony was a cozy place to relax after a day of excursions and the bed was comfortable, giving us a good nights rest. We opted for breakfast with our stay and it was a tasty breakfast brunch. Location made it an easy walk to the night market, shopping and restaurants. Didn't try the spa or the other restaurants at the hotel, so we can't comment on that. Overall, in our personal opinion we enjoyed our stay and would recomment it.
