InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort

From the start to the end it was a flawless experience! Not only the hotel was in a very good shape...everything was clean and not worn off or smelly. The hotel was exceeded by the staff however, which was ever so friendly... ALL of them! Here Marky from the Club Lounge must be especially be mentioned, as he quickly adapted to our habits and was always nice to chat with. As Ambassador we got a generous room upgrade and a late checkout. This hotel is well worth to be recommended.

My first stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Samui was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service. Our beachfront room offered stunning views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We truly had a fantastic time and can't wait to return.

I stayed at the Koh Samui Intercontinental for a short stay after viewing the hotel on a previous trip to the island. First things first, the view is absolutely incredible, shared by only a handful of hotels on this side of the island. This is truly the best side of Koh Samui for an evening sunset, entirely uninterrupted views. We stayed in a two bedroom villa, with four people, which was set over two floors, with plenty of space, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The only gripe here is the villas are set away from the main hotel and a hard walk should you choose to brave it. The main pool area is for me a let down. It’s fairly crowded and difficult to get space. The pool is busy and not an overly relaxing experience. The infinity pool nearest the lobby is beautiful, shares an impressive elevated view and is adults only (when rules are obeyed). The is peaceful, relaxing and by far the better place to spend the day. The poolside Service throughout the hotel is poor. And I mean poor. Everything happened if you made it happen, and was not proactive whatsoever. For a hotel of this calibre and price point, this is well below par. Overall the stay was pleasant, but for me there are far too many good (and better) hotels on the island to warrant a returning stay. Not good enough Service and not a great poolside experience. This could be so much better. Next time, to be on this side of the island, I will splurge and stay at the Conrad Hilton. Just around the corner, but leagues above. Fantastic views, good rooms. Poor Service. Average poolside area.

This is my first time at Samui and also at IHG hotel chain. I have experienced plenty of wonderful moments at InterContinental Samui. Me and my mother feel "the heart of service" from every single personnel. Especially, "Khun Ing" at the Club InterContinental. "Khun Ing" gave me and my mother two heartmade bracelets. A purple-colored flower one for me and a rainbow with a cutie Pegasus above for my mother. At the time of checkout, I was very impressed by receiving a whitish envelope. The envelope contains a card. A card contains meaningful messages on the lefthand side and a photograph of me and my mother wearing the aforementioned bracelets took by Khun Ing on the righthand side. I was very greatful. I was in the beachfront pool villa during March 8-March 9, 2025. This place is so great for me. In the night of March 8, there was a private event on the beach which we can distantly enjoy the fire show. During my video recording, surprisingly, there was a beautiful FIREWORKS from the edge of the bridge. This is one of my memorable moment. Thank you for everything you all gave me.

Our romantic birthday cellebration was pure bliss, thanks to the impeccable service and breathtaking views at this exceptional hotel. From the luxurious suite (a suprise upgrade) to the exquisite dining, welcoming staff, every detail was perfect.
