Relaxing birthday stay
Had a great time at the resort. A great getaway place if you like the hotel/villa to feel a bit secluded. Friendly staff and many perks at the hotel here and there. Staff took notes of my 30th birthday and arranged a bottle of wine and cake and bath robes as gifts. Feeling very spoiled. :)

Incredible Views and wonderful spa
Great hotel and even better spa. I loved my facial with Amy, she was amazing and it was one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. Aey also went out of her way to make my birthday special and I am so grateful! Everyone here is so kind and the grounds are stunning! It’s a perfect place to relax and see beautiful Thailand.

Stunning property, great spa.
Beautiful hotel and an amazing property. Breakfast was decent but not amazing. Staff was good and responsive but not quite up to our expectations for a Ritz-Carlton property. The highlight of our stay was a couples facial at the spa that was AMAZING. Som and Ing were incredible therapists and Rose in the spa lounge was very accommodating. Overall we had a very good experience. 10/10 recommend the spa.

Ultimate Pool Villa Experience
as part of our island hopping stay, Ritz Carlton was our first hotel as it is near to the airport which works for our late arrival. They have improved tremendously since the last time, everything works properly now. I'm very thankful for the room upgrade, it was situated high up with good view of the ocean, The birthday treat and inprinted coconuts were greatly appreciated. The transport arrangement from airport pickup, night trip to fisherman village to hotel transfer, all were done smoothly with no hiccups. it was perfect ! To all the staff - Thank you team Ritz Carlton Samui !

Can you believe a five-star hotel's private villa would have no hot water?
I came here for a romantic getaway with my partner. We chose Ritz Carlton for its reputation for luxury and good service. My stay in the first two days in the private villa was alright. However, on the third day when it was wet and rainy. I went back to my villa after a long day out in the rain, soaking wet, only to find that there was no hot water at midnight. That is absolutely unacceptable for a five-star hotel. I called guest service who said they would send an engineer to fix it, but the problem wasn't resolved. I find this absolutely unacceptable, and I am utterly disappointed at Ritz Carlton.
