Absolutely stunning location, would highly recommend. Looked after so well by such lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and pool days were kept hydrated by pool staff who refilled our glasses with ice cold water every half hour or so. In between visits to try the cocktails of course !! Only downside was we had to come home !!!! But will definitely be back xx

Top class resort. Staff so friendly, everything was very easy for us, rooms/villas were spotless and cleaned every day. Facilities were great, food fantastic, bar men and women English was great, everybody here is so welcoming. Even when checking out at 12 noon, flight not u til 6 pm- they gave us a sea view suite to relax in free of charge for the day. Brilliant. Will be back.

We visited the Tongsai for the 6th time at the end of September and can honestly say that it manages to exceed our expectations on every visit. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is truly magical whether you are first time guests or returning guests. This time it was my husband’s birthday and wow did they make it special!! At breakfast he was given a homemade Leeds United birthday cake (even though Mark the manager is a Man Utd fan!) A birthday lunch was cooked to order by chef Eak which Grouper Fish that literally had been caught the previous day by the wonderful Tang (restaurant manager) on his day off! It is touches like this that make this hotel so special. There is a reason that so many guests revisit year after year, as they genuinely feel like they are part of the Tongsai family and are returning home to visit friends. The sheer number of repeat guests is a testament to this. The Banyan Tree / Garrya partnership, under the expert guidance of Manuel, has enhanced this place making it a go to return destination for so many visitors. The ability to blend luxury whilst still retaining the warmth and authenticity of an independent hotel is rare occurrence in the leisure industry. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

Nice hideaway resort with a private beach and a lovely pool. The rooms are spacious and tidy. The only downside was the noisy A/C, positioned directly above the bed, which could be bothersome. The restaurants are good and reasonably priced, with the added bonus that we could even order off-menu items. The staff is very attentive, and we particularly want to commend Pu from the breakfast team for her cheerful and friendly demeanor. It’s worth mentioning that the breakfast area and reception are located higher up on the hill, but this should not deter anyone from choosing this resort. There are buggies available on-call at all times for convenience. On a personal note, we found Chaweng to be too touristy, but we thoroughly enjoyed Bangrak and the Fisherman’s Village. These areas offer plenty of shops and restaurants without the presence of boozy backpackers.
