Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui

Beautiful location with stunning views upon arrival. Lovely pool staff and welcoming committee! “Boy”, “Ae”, “Po” at the breakfast juice bar, the kid club staff and all of the employees exceeded expectations. Breakfast was beyond excellent and the rooms were confortable and updated. The grounds could use some maintenance but not in control of the employees (higher level structural upgrades). Our family of six had a wonderful stay and every need was met quickly and with a smile. I would highly recommend this hotel with a very convenient central location to activities.

We had a fantastic stay at Garrya Tongsia, the food is amazing especially the Breakfast and the Customer Service is superb. We’d highly recommend doing the Beach BBQ, the selection and quality of the food is unreal and the fire show is brilliant. As the resort is about 40 years old some parts are tired and need refreshed (Woodwork & Pool Area) But Overall it’s excellent and you won’t regret booking. The staff are so friendly to all customers (we loved Mr Ae) however one Senior Female member of staff was very rude to the Grab driver trying to pick us up from the hotel entrance on our departure

It’s hard to find any faults with the running of this hotel, Mark the hotel manager is excellent and is surrounded by the most friendly helpful staff you could wish for. The breakfast and service is seriously good and they cater for all nationalities and choices are aplenty. The hotel restaurants all seem excellent although we only dined in one for the “fire show buffet”which was amazing,unbelievable variety of food dishes, and great service. The pools and views are stunning and no problems getting beds at either, fresh cold water is on tap and sometimes some fresh fruit which is a nice addition. The room we had was sea view suite and we couldn’t fault it, clean, very spacious, stunning views and fantastic internet ( always important). Now many people complain about the walking around this complex and I guess if I’m honest if you are suffering from mobility it might not be for you but the buggy drivers are on hand 24/7 and arrive within 1-2 minutes of calling reception so don’t let anyone put you off staying at this hotel because of its terrain, as to us it was all part of the charm. This hotel is also quite secluded which again makes it beautifully quiet and peaceful but you will need to get a taxi to visit local restaurants or as we did hire a motorcycle through reception and job done, everything is a short ride away ( fishermans village is 15 minutes) and great for getting around the island. All in all a great weeks stay and we would definitely return in the near future Now

Great hotel to stay at for a relaxing holiday The service staff were always smiling, the food in all their restaurants were reasonably priced and yummy, the seaview villa was beautiful and comfortable. The beach was a great place to laze around with our books and the half moon swimming pool had the perfect view Would definitely come back again

Great location with super staff. Went for a break on the way back from New Zealand. Stayed for 6 days. The location has 3 restaurants and looks after all tastes. Breakfast is defiantly worth a mention. We had a sea view lodge with great views over the bay and down to the beach. The sand is a course type not the soft white sand. You have to remember the resort is built in a small bay so all accommodation radiates up from that, that is what gives you your great views. Its a great wind down place with a chance to chat with people from around the world, many returning from previous visits.
