Kumarakom Lake Resort

It was amazing, beautiful property with lots of activities like pottery, cycling, water sports, backwater cruise etc, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the in house photographer Kavi, he was really helpful, very peaceful and clean as well, 10/10 would recommend, totally worth the price!

We loved everything about this beautiful resort. Our room was really lovely and the whole resort was a delight to walk around. The food in both restaurants was very good, especially the seafood restaurant. We enjoyed 7am yoga by the lake and the sunset cruise.

We stayed for one night here in a houseboat, what a unique experience. I was warned to expect basic accommodation so my surprise on the luxury of the houseboat was evident. The food was amazing (almost too plentiful as 5 courses for lunch and dinner!) and the views of the backwater lush!! Would recommend!

If you want a resort which is clean, very well maintained, good food, wonderful staff AND many local families with noisy, badly behaved children and neither parents nor hotel take any action, then this place is for you. I also note that similar reviews have been posted in the past,2019 at least and the hotel politely replies thanking the guest for the review, feedback and says it will take any action deemed necessary.When we made comment to senior staff at the hotel, we received the same well prepared speech.However he seemed at a loss when I pointed out the previous stereotyped response and the fact that nothing had been done in the last 6 years.Why are there no adult only pool and restaurant at the very least?They have the land so we were told and they are constructing a helicopter pad as well so finance doesn't appear to be an issue. Non local holiday makers travelling for a warm, relaxing peaceful break are clearly by no means the most important guests as the resorts actions clearly show, whatever the official protestations may say.Even the staff were at a loss sometimes and were openly glad when certain families left but made it clear that they were allowed to do nothing.Its a shame as this resort could be so good so why are delinquent,disruptive children allowed to run and stamp around, shouting and sometimes even shrieking and the resorts response is so very poor.

Can’t explain in a word..pool..infinity pool,meandering pool,food,yoga.sunset trip is awesome..many more serving staff,response,hospitality is its best.. Sunset trip with live music,karnatic dance during dinner is mind blowing
