Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Been coming here since 1988 and the very high standards are fully maintained with professional friendliness. I endorse the 5* reviews. If you like modern and shiny high tech hotels, there are one or two around KL. but if you like old-school opulence & the best service, you know where to stay.

For the first leg of our honeymoon, we could not have chosen a lovelier hotel . All the staff were very personable. It was immaculately, presented the dining choices, fantastic, and nothing was ever too much when we asked for assistance. The chocolates. And flowers on the bed were a lovely touch .

Greeted warmly by Thela at Horizon Club and was surprised that she remembered us from our previous stay.  Check In and check out was smooth by Thela and Agnes.  Thanks for Hotel hospitality in room upgrade.  Housekeeping staff are courteous as usual.  We had good time relaxing and enjoying the facilities at Horizon Club lounge. We were happy that now Arthur Grill is a non-smoking restaurant.  Hani and the rest of the staff at Arthur are friendly and helpful.

The best hotel in KUL no need to think about anything! Location, quality of service, facilities, warm you feel like you are at home and everything was perfect. I would like to mention some names but am wondering if I forgot some names so far from reception team and the housekeeping people also the health club. all of them been polite and handling everything perfectly thanks a lot to everyone at Shangri-la Hotel Kuala Lumpur. see you again!

Nothing beats a great conversation over great food. Impeccable service from Alice. She gave great recommendations and was really attentive during the course of our meal. Thank you for the warm hospitality! I would definitely come back again!
