This hotel is everything you could want from a luxury hotel chain. The lobby area is vast and beautifully decorated. The room we stayed in was fantastic with a very comfy bed and the staff are helpful to a fault. The exec lounge is stunning and a lovely place to relax.

Nice hotel, good restaurant, staff are very accomodating and hospitable. Very good ambiance and nice facilities. we experience the Chinese calligraphy and brought it home with us for our souvenire wriiten in chinese character our own name. Thank you Shangril La

Old Hotel But Well Maintain

ShangriLa KL Review Check In Date: 18 JAN 2025 ( 1 night) Arrival: I arrived at the hotel at around 7.30 am... Just dropped my bags and I went on to another place... Only when I arrived, the staff on duty was named Harman, as if he wasn't willing to help... Not friendly either... No. welcoming... Very disappointing experience... Management please take note... Horrizon Lounge: Very relaxed & relaxing atmosphere... The staff are very professional & friendly especially Mr Shakir, Mr Shah (Penangties), Miss Kelly, Mr Zaidi... Only the food during the evening cocktail is just ordinary for me.. Nothing special.. . Can upgrade more variety... Also one staff name Chiang not professional in serving guest... Very disappointed... Breakfast @ Lemon Garden: Quite a lot of choices too... Just a bit disappointed because there is no fresh juice... there is only chilled juice... Still no improvement after a long time & after many previous reviews... One staff too has acted somewhat unprofessionally in serving guests (Miss Shikin).. Very disappointed... anyway, thank you to Miss Zie (Lounge Manager) & Miss Liew Khai Chyi (DM) for the good service...

First time staying in Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur Happy that any upset or concern was dealt with effectually with understanding and care, Special thanks to Khai Chyi (duty manager), Zakuan (Duty Manager), Iqah (F&B Service Manager) who all helped to make our stay more memorable and special.
