Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa

I just had an absolutely delightful massage from Francisco Gracia!! The only negative is that I didn't book a longer treatment!! He was professional, made me feel comfortable, and the pressure was perfection! I was in heaven and didn't want my experience to end.

The hotel is very nicely appointed and the rooms are modern and well laid out. Our check-in process was disappointing though as we were given a room of a lower rate class than the one we booked without being informed of that fact (we checked in late at night and the room we booked was supposed to be garden view, instead we got one facing the parking lot). Other small requests were either not carried out (requested a knife to be sent up to the room, told no problem, never showed) or flatly denied (1/2 hour later checkout, understandable but hotel wasn't full and seemed unreasonable to flatly deny).

This is the best dog-friendly hotel we have ever stayed out. The property is so beautiful too. It is tranquil and in keeping with its environment. The location is very convenient to Torrey Pines, UCSD, and downtown La Jolla. Love, love, love!

Our stay at Estancia La Jolla was incredible. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the hotel staff were very friendly. The highlight of our entire experience was KEVIN. He took amazing care of us at the lobby bar and was truly one of the best bartenders we have ever met. His ability to remember each guest’s name is ridiculously impressive. The cocktails were incredible and the conversations were even better. We will definitely be back to see Kevin again!!

Shout out to Erica S for adding a personal touch to every step. She knew what we needed before we did, and took care of us through all phases. We stayed here as part of a stressful fire evacuation from LA. Erica was there for us, and was able to relate to us on a personal level. That’s a level of care you can’t teach, she’s just a natural. Estancia is blessed to have her repping for them. Thanks, E!
