Overpriced for what you get especially the spa. There is no place to lounge in the spa. Shower floors were dirty, too. Hotel is beautiful, but had issues with room that we were given. I had to request a change which I hate to do. The staff were all very pleasant. Overall, overpriced. Grounds are beautiful but location is just ok.

Place is decent because of the renovations. But you can tell the place is trying to be nicer than what it really is. The beds are old and you can feel the springs. The renovations were not a complete overall. The front desk service is bad. The bar and the restaurants were good. If you’re expecting Holiday Inn you will love it. If you’re expecting Four Seasons or Aviara nice or that level of service, you will be extremely disappointed.

Great san diego staycation! Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, fancy cocktails. Close location to hiking at torrey pines and the beach. Tacos on the dinner menu are expensive for what you get but the rest is good. Fun christmasy pop up bar in winter!

Kevin is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever encountered! His attention to detail and creativity behind the bar are unmatched. I asked for something unique, and he delivered an absolutely phenomenal custom Reposado Espresso Martini. It was perfectly balanced with the smooth warmth of the reposado, a rich coffee flavor, and just the right touch of sweetness. You could tell he put so much thought and care into every element of the drink. Beyond his skills, Kevin’s friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience even better. He took the time to ask about my preferences and genuinely cared about making the perfect cocktail for me. If you’re lucky enough to have Kevin as your bartender, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. Cheers to Kevin for setting the bar (pun intended) so high!
