Cassey was absolutely great and kind and helped me with the reservation process and answered all my questions patiently. Elliot was amazing at check-in. He immediately switched my room when I requested a better view and he obliged without any hesitation. Appreciate the early check-in as well. All the staff at the valet were incredibly helpful and the service they provided is valued and much appreciated. Thank you for an overall great stay! My first solo trip and I felt welcomed and safe.

Room was extremely noisy-could hear elevator going up and down. In order to see the ocean you had to position yourself at a certain spot to see the view. Hard to maintain a comfortable temperature because fan was too loud and blew directly on you or air conditioning was too weak or to strong. Service was very good. Staff was very friendly.

This is where we stay in La Jolla, about the 6th trip. Enjoyed an ocean view room, comfortable, beautiful sunset, partial ocean view due to taller infill buildings as the area gentrifies and tall buildings take the front row seat. Overall feel is European and smaller rooms, but well done with modern bathrooms. Nice lounge with chairs and fireplace, pool is small, bar is very small, ate at the upscale restaurant once - usually go across the street to the pancake house for breakfast and enjoy all the excellent La Jolla dining options in the area, sad that the Living Room eatery has moved farther north and across the street as of Fall 2024. All sorts of interesting shops in the area, for window shopping and actual. The guys at the door are always friendly and full of any information you may need. Resort fee includes parking, but still seems unnecessary, although the snacks are nice. Restaurant staff a bit full of themselves, bar is way too tight and first floor should be reconfigured to make the bar a destination of its own without tripping over the other customers - staff in there is great.

Lovely location, staff, and experience. One block from Children’s Pool with the seals. Bars/restaurants/shopping all just outside the hotel. Has restaurant/bar in hotel as well. Was lucky to have Santa Ana winds that brought clear crisp skies with a little chill at night. Had room with kitchen and loft. Clean and spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Had pull out couch, robes, iron, umbrella- just some things I noticed. Deep tub for a nice bath. Did not hear other guests. Very clean bathrooms. Seemed to be heated pool, no hot tub.

Very nice room and super clean. Everything reached our expectations wether staff, room, hotel and atmosphere. We really enjoyed the historical vibes of the hotel and the central location in La Jolla. We could walk anywhere from the hotel. It was also nice to have snacks and soda for free in the fridge upon our arrival!
