Why stay any where else in LaJolla?
Value! Comfort! Space! Access! Valet included! No nickel and diming feeling bc these people are so service minded. Three couples, three charming rooms, and three wonderful experiences. Stay in the Tudor house for an apartment-style visit that offers separation from the hotel with amenities nearby. It can be loud as the worker's seem to forget they are parking and entering the property near bedrooms, so bring ear plugs. That little negative feedback shouldn't overshadow the overall 'wonderfulness' of the hotel.

Excellent place to stay!
It was an exceptional experience. It's a nice hotel with comfortable and clean rooms that are nicely designed. Location is perfect. More importantly, staff members are very professional and friendly, something that you don't see in many other hotels.

Magical, welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day living.
The Grande Colonial is a magical place and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. The staff are courteous, prompt and accommodating. We stayed in the Grande Queen/Queen suite and found it spacious and very comfortable. We slept well and the shower and bathroom were very nice. The holiday decor throughout the hotel added to the loveliness. It was a treat to sit fireside by the tree! We have been guests 3 times and can’t wait to plan our 4th stay. What a wonderful hotel!

Great location in LaJolla
Beautiful hotel, suite with amazing view. However, the location right over the pool and terrace was very noisy due to the fact there were holiday parties on the nights we were there. Also, you have to request your room be cleaned and restocked with coffee. Great location in LaJolla, walking distance to anything we wanted to do. Great advantage since we didn’t rent a car.

Highly recommend - 5 star service and location
Cassey was absolutely great and kind and helped me with the reservation process and answered all my questions patiently. Elliot was amazing at check-in. He immediately switched my room when I requested a better view and he obliged without any hesitation. Appreciate the early check-in as well. All the staff at the valet were incredibly helpful and the service they provided is valued and much appreciated. Thank you for an overall great stay! My first solo trip and I felt welcomed and safe.
