We keep coming back!
La V is a magical place. Gorgeous, charming and approachable without a hint of snobbiness. The light on the hotel with all its stunning tilework is really a work of art. The pool area centres the hotel and is an exceptional area with Mike fully in control with aplomb, grace and kindness.

Dog friendly. Great view.
This location is fantastic for dogs, featuring a dedicated dog menu. The views are breathtaking, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Nikki at the front desk provided excellent recommendations on places to visit and activities to enjoy. Whenever I want to escape Manhattan Beach, I will definitely return here.

Bar/lounge are closed before too early Friday Dec. 20th.
I spent Friday Dec. 20th at your lovely hotel. I was disappointed when I came back to the holiday at 9:50 PM, and the bar/lounge was already closed and there were no servers there. I spent the night there to celebrate my birthday. It was disappointing. Thank you, Ellen R

Simply put, this is the best customer service we have ever experienced for any hotel in the world. They exceeded our high expectations every moment from arrival to departure. If you do not stay at La Valencia, you will be missing out on the BEST hotel in the La Jolla, Del Mar, Torrey Pines region.

THE VIEW!
Had an amazing time during NYE at La Valencia. The employees were helpful and extremely welcoming. The accommodations met the standard and the VIEWS! Wow the views were breathtaking. I would recommend La V to anyone who wants to take a beautiful vacation to San Diego!

Just had a great vacation! Loved La Valencia Hotel...so nostalgic and very well done! Our room was in the West Wing with two queen beds, down pillows and crisp hi thread count sheets; it was a completely refurbished room that still maintained it's history. The staff, from the moment we pulled up throughout the very end of our stay, was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. The grounds were impeccable and in a perfect location...on one side is the ocean and the other the village. We would definitely stay there again!
