If you want a beach hotel close to La Paz this is your best choice. . Pros: Good sized rooms. Washcloths in bathroom, also bolted in toiletries. Free water in room, fridge, and coffee maker. TV with a good number of English and Soanish channels. Nice amenities - two pools, one with a bar, one more for laps. Coffee shop. Small gym. Beach club short walk from hotel. Sandy Beach. Had a small number of chairs and beds to sit on, though they filled up fast. Towels to check out. Very shallow water, so good for kids, but note that it's affected by tides. It's in a marina community, so a small convenience store and some other restaurants and such a short walk away. Looks like there would be sufficient parking if you drive. Cons: It's kind of far from things. If you don't have a car you'll need to get a taxi/Uber, or it seems the hotel might have a shuttle but I didn't use it. Beds in the firm side (which might be a plus for others) I found the food in the restaurant kind of meh. Breakfast buffet was very red meat heavy, so not worth the price if you don't partake. Since you are far from La Paz, if you don't want steak and shrimp or middling pizza or pasta, you don't have many options. Food delivery doesn't go that far out. There are some restaurants in the Marina area you can walk to in 15 or 20 minutes.

It had been 15 years since I last visited this property - then called Costa Baja. All these years later, it didn't fail to deliver on the luxury, comfort, hospitality, views, food, customer service and more. The most incredible thing was the staff - gracious, welcoming, friendly, and always smiling and ready to provied everything and anything we needed. Thank you to Javier, Arturo and so many others whose names we asked - sorry for not remembering. Everyone gave 120%. Our king room with a waterfront view was absolutely wonderful. Every morning we sat on our balcony and enjoyed our coffees. And something that always tells you what to expect - the most stylish bathrooms inroom and at the beach. We enjoyed several meals at hotel restaurant Barco and drinks at Puerto at the beach club. We also enjoyed chatting with other guests who were also smiling. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. Swimming in the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. Native birds visiting. The hotel staff helped us arrange a private tour to Isla Espiritu Santos - most magical place. Memories to last a lifetime. Wow! What a beautiful and relaxing hotel! I can't say enough about this place. My husband booked it for my birthday weekend. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The service was top notch from the front desk to the housekeeper and bell boys; all so wonderful and hospitable. Everyone greeted us with a smile and eagerness to make our stay exceptional. The location is perfect, the beach super accessible, the numerous pools and different activities surrounding the hotel were great. Thank you Hotel Indigo for a magical birthday! Will absolutely be back!

Beautiful hotel about 15 minutes from town. Set on a marina with beautiful bay views. The hotel restaurant is good and the staff excellent. There are other restaurants in the marina that are very good if you want a change. We received a free upgrade and the suite was beautiful. Special thanks to Bianka on reception and Giovanny in Barco for their excellent service. - Steve & Lee

Absolutely amazing experience. Five star service. The staff when above and beyond to create a once in a lifetime experience. Special shout outs to Erik at the hotel who helped me order the flowers for my girlfriend and arrange a special surprise and to Giovanny at Barco where the culinary experience was enhanced by his warm demeanor and excellent service. What a hidden gem in Baja California.
