Had the best time with bartenders # 1 Ramon & Carlos! Clavy, Geraldo, Goubriel were also muy perfecto. I felt at home, we told stories, laughed and enjoyed our time together. I took appreciation on their hard work. We had a large group of around 90 people, there were times where purses, phones were accidentally left behind. Geraldo made sure he found the right people to get back there belongings! It was a very professional staff at “ On The Rocks” I hope to see them again someday, i wish i would have asked for a phone number or address from Romon & Carlos so i could thank them personally. Hasta Luego Machado!! Mucho respeto. Familia para siempre. Thank you Jeff Taschler

We came for spring break with our three teen daughters. We paid extra for a cabana on the beach with butler service. It was worth every penny. Febles (our butler) made our stay special. Food and other amenities were just ok. Gym was small & crowded.

Starting with the positives. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the beach gorgeous. The a la carte restaurants were pretty good, with minimal queuing times. We were staying in the family side of the hotel, but the hotel is set up so that anyone over 18 can have full access to the adult only section too which is fab. I loved the main pool in the adult section, with views over the sea and a swim up bar. What lets the hotel down is the atmosphere. Although the staff at the hotel were always friendly and polite, they didn’t appear to enjoy working there, there were no natural smiles or laughter. There was this strange protocol where staff had to put their right hand on their heart, whenever they said hello or thank you. The uniform in the restaurants / bars included a workers flat cap, other unforms reminded me of 1960s American maid outfits. I saw managers being rude to junior staff, and one junior member of staff asked us to scan their QR code to give positive feedback. I can’t fully enjoy a holiday with that kind of atmosphere. We did a two centre holiday, and our first hotel was very different, so much happier. The other thing that lets the hotel down was the set-up of the buffets, with the food behind plastic screens. Sometimes there were long queues at a counter, other times there was no one behind the screen to serve the dishes. It was also difficult to ask for a little bit of this, a little bit of that, which is the main benefit of a buffet.
