Banyan Tree Bintan

Location and view were fantastic. Villa is dated but kept very clean and pleasant. Mainly rocky but access to a nice sand beach shared with other hotels . Convenient for the excellent Laguna golf course. Lovely surprise set up of our room for our anniversary, thank you David, Daus and Lilik. Room to improve…. Breakfast quality was ok but nothing special. Also the over easy egg was completely over cooked. Tennis not possible on the court at golf club because no hitting partner or coach available during my stay.

Wonderful stay with excellent service by all staff right fr the moment we arrived. Special mention housekeeping staff Lilik, Dauid & Daus who went all out to decorate the room beautifully and gave birthday surprise by waiting for us to be back from dinner and sang bd song (and I confirmed with hubby he didn't arrange for this). The Thai food at Saffron was so good that we went twice during our stay. Service staff there were excellent too, who remembered our order & details. Waiter Sudarsono at Reflection was very attentive and provide excellent service too. The spa was great too with experienced & skilled therapists. Overall I give 10/10 for this stay. Thank you Banyan Tree for a wonderful experience.

Arriving here is like arriving in heaven. The hotel is beautifully set on the beach in midst of the jungle. The villas are gorgeous and well-maintained. Service staff is exceptional. Especially Daus & Lilik provided the friendliest turn-down service in the world. The saffron restaurant serves delicious Thai cuisine. The massages and spa treatments are superior to anything we’ve ever had. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel, although it needs some refurbishing now. But it’s well kept and the views are amazing. Incredibly kind staff, especially our housekeeping team, Tommy and Afif, and our pool man, Asmardi. Thank you guys. You made our stay very special 😍

Very relaxing, great staff and close to Singapore. The accommodation 2 bedroom villa with a pool was amazing and the spa was terrific. The house keeping and buggy drivers we also so nice and went over and above to make our stay amazing. David, Lilia and Wendy are the best! The Thai and Indonesian food is great, skip the Cove restaurant. The ambiance is awful, giant hooded grill so you can’t hear each other and the food is average. It is a tad expensive for food but the portions are huge so splitting a main and an appetizer is fine for 2. Best to bring your own alcohol and mixers as they are very pricey even with happy hour on the beach next door. The only staff member who was not terrific and notably so was the woman in the gift store.
