Banyan Tree Bintan

Banyan Tree Bintan Is a very good place to celebrate a special occasion. Our honeymoon was spent in Banyan Tree Bintan ten years ago and we returned to spend our 10th wedding anniversary here again. A big thank to Rizan, our Villa host, who made good efforts to arrange for our requested villa and all his assistance to make our stay a very pleasant one. We greatly appreciated Rizan’s positive attitude and personalised service. He was ready and willing to assist us whenever necessary. We also appreciated Kasir’s excellent customer service. Kasir was always cheerful and enthusiastic in serving his customers. He always greeted us with his sunshine smiles and he was the best buggy driver. Thanks to Tika and Inggrid who provided a warmth, friendly and attentive service in Treetop Restaurant. My husband and I were very impressed by Inggid’s proficiency and efficiency. We enjoyed chatting with her. Last but not least, thank Tommy, the housekeeping team, for preparing a lovely surprise frangipani bath and room decoration for me which was very much appreciated. I must also mention the Hilltop Spa which so fantastic that I went there everyday during my 5 night stay.Highly recommended Hafika for her excellent skills and service. Also, Dira at the Galley Shop was very helpful. The only downside to us was the food in the two restaurants, The Cove and Saffron was far below standard to us. Luckily we found good food in Treetop Restaurant. Though the weather was very bad during our stay, we still had many sweet memories because of the above mentioned staffs. Thank you to all of them.

The BBQ dinner on the Villa was excellent server by the team waiter & chief of scenery Sudarsono, chief cook Rifky, steward Yunizar and Engineer Mr Ali. It was a delicious Javenese /Western sunset dinner in amazing ambience. Thanks for this unforgettable perfect wedding day dinner.

absolutely brilliant from the moment we were picked up at the ferry to the moment all the staff chipped in to rush us back to the ferry on time as we had got our days mixed up. All the staff including the maintainence staff are wonderful and full of smiles; they cannot do enough for you. The room was large and the bed incredibly comfortable. I fully recommend a massage. The only difficulty is deciding which restaurant to go to as each has a large and brilliant menu!!

Best resort so far for me. Period! Okay, I have to write more because it’s less than 200 characters. Some more comments: The staff was excellent, the food was excellent, the view was excellent, and the room was excellent. The only drawback is that there are some mosquitoes in the evening because the entire property is within a rainforest. However, the resort takes extra care to address this.

The hotel is very good and very satisfying, the facilities and the hotel view are fantastic, the room is clean, very comfortable. Beautiful environment, friendly and attentive staff, and a calm atmosphere, and we so happy when we stay in Banyantree Bintan
