Surf & Sand Resort

Every single worker we encountered was friendly, accommodating, and clearly happy with the environment I can only assume management has created for both employees and guests. I’ve stayed at many hotels run by poor management and the employees are understandably discontent and take their frustrations out on guests. Not here. From early check in to a seamless room change, to all the dining/valet/bellhop/pool/cleaning staff, we experienced 5-star treatment AND great local tips. Special thanks to Mike, Shanny and Allie at front desk; Chris and Gunner at valet/bellhop and everyone who made this a truly unparalleled hotel stay.

We arrive. Jay, the valet was professional, helpful and friendly. He set the tone. Mike at front desk was friendly, proactive and professional. Allie, front desk was the best! Destiny in client experience was exceptional and made sure all of our needs were met and then some. The staff were all personable and friendly and always looking to help. Could not walk by one without them asking you if you needed anything. They treated my 5 yo twin girls like they were paying customers. We will be back!

Absolutely lovely ocean-front property with amenities galore including wood floors, a 60 inch TV, heavenly bed with plush pillows, deep bathtub that over looks the ocean, floor to ceiling windows, a porch with breathtaking views, automatic lighting and electronic shades. The service is impeccable and the onsite restaurant, Splashes, is outstanding. I came here for a business conference and the AV, seating, staff, and buffet service were incredible; nothing was left to chance and the staff was attentive to our needs.

The renovation is outstanding. I’ve been to this resort multiple times before and was shocked at the beauty of the new renovations. The views, the service and bathrooms and even the room minibars are all on point. Deepest bathtub I’ve been in. The balcony has tremendous views with glass walls jutting over ocean.

This was our first time returning to Surf and Sand since the remodel began. no detail has been overlooked and clearly no expense was spared with the remodel. The rooms are so far beyond what we expected. The rooms are truly beautiful with every modern convenience you could ask for. We have always enjoyed the impressive ocean views from the rooms, but now there is so much more to enjoy. The new bathrooms add so much to the rooms. The layout was thoughtfully designed with very large showers, deep soaking tubs and luxury finishes. Splashes has reopened and is stunning with amazing food and service. The new extended lobby is just beautiful and now takes full advantage of the ocean views. I just can't say enough about the impressive remodel. I also can't thank the staff enough for taking such great care of us. Mike at the front desk makes us feel like family, Anahit at the gift shop can figure out your style and what you would like within minutes, she has a pop-up shop on the front terrace while the shop is finished up, and has some perfect pieces. She keeps the pop-up stocked with fun and unique things. You may read or hear that there is still construction underway on the North side of the resort, but we were in the Towers and things were perfect. I would not hesitate waiting to experience the new Surf and Sand. There was absolutely no construction on the weekend, and we could hear very little during the week because the restaurant and pool buffer you from noise on the North side of the property. We have plans for another visit prior to the summer crowds arriving.
