Outstanding Stay!
Service levels were amazing! Special thanks to Sydney at the front desk. She was phenomenal and communication was outstanding. Also special thanks to the staff at the restaurant that accommodated our large group without any warning from us. Sorry I forgot his name but the young man from France was very helpful!!

Perfection
Staff was professional and friendly. Incredible experience. Food and service at Splashes was top. Concierge service went out of their way to make the “Proposal “ a wonderful, romantic and beautiful experience! We will return. (And let it be known she did say “yes”)

Local Visit
I stopped by with a friend of mine to check out the renovations. Absolutely stunning. I was so impressed by the changes they made just entering the hotel lobby. We were immediately greeted by Courtney at the front desk who answered all of our questions and even took us down to show us the new look of the Splashes restaurant. So impressed with the hotel and staff. Cannot wait to return to eat and have guest visiting Laguna stay here!

Amazing time
Had a great experience with my friends! Diner was good, view from the room was stunning, and great welcome environment from the staff, especially Courtney that was very welcoming for her hospitality job, that made everything special for me! The city Laguna have a lot gem to try visiting.

Stay away
We came here to celebrate our anniversary, having honeymooned at this hotel 32 years ago. What a disappointment! The hotel is currently under renovation, and for $2,700 for two nights, the only amenity available was one restaurant with outdoor seating. They don’t serve breakfast anywhere except through room service, which took an hour to arrive and was cold. The restaurant was only 30 feet away from construction workers using heavy machinery, making lunch quite unpleasant. On top of that, the TV wasn’t working one day, the pool is closed, and the hotel looks nothing like it does on the website. While the views are amazing, this experience has been a huge waste of money, and I feel cheated. Not a resort experience. I would definitely recommend staying away until the renovation is complete.

We spent 5 luxurious nights at the Surf & Sand hotel in Laguna Beach, CA, the week of August 14th, 2004. Upon arrival at our oceanfront room, we received chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. A full breakfast in Splashes restaurant included anything we wanted on the menu each day. We had a wonderful dinner including a bottle of wine, and even the hotel taxes and parking each day was included. It was a really great vacation.

My husband, daughter and I spent a luxurious four days in August at the Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA. This was the perfect place to recuperate after dropping my youngest off for his freshman year at USC! Thank you.
