Surf & Sand Resort

We arrived hours before check-in not expecting our room to be ready. From the moment we arrived every single staff member we encountered was pleasant, gracious, helpful and professional. Kit and Allie at reception we're so kind and helpful. Although a beautiful spa is under renovation, we were able to have massage services in our room overlooking the gorgeous view of the ocean and listening to the crashing waves. We dined at splashes the oceanfront restaurant for both dinner and brunch. Our dinner was wonderful at sunset. Our waitress Johana, was gracious and engaging and knew the menu well. We had lovely lamb chops and yummy mock-tails. We stayed in a King studio on the top floor in the newly renovated spectacular tower. No expense was spared in this exquisite modern masterpiece. Light and airy and the pictures don't do it justice. Housekeeping staff was exceptional. It felt like the moment we pressed the button for Service someone was there. I read the reviews from people who seemed concerned about the ongoing renovation not quite completed. However, this masterful renovation is almost completed and really truly I felt the quality of our accommodations and overall stay far exceeded our expectations.

We made a quick trip up to Laguna to spend time with good friends from the East Coast who used to live here. As always our stay was amazing. The hotel staff are ALWAYS so friendly and welcoming. Ali the concierge always makes sure our stay is perfect and that we do the best of Laguna during our stay! Our Dog was even pampered! Fancy dog bed and bowls, a freshly baked treat and a surf and sand bandana! They think of everything… talk about dog friendly!

This was our 5th time back but 1st after the reno; blown away as per usual. Customer service is always top notch and now rooms meet that level too. Wish Splashes was open but we’ll be back. Love S&S!!!!!

This was our first time coming to Surf & Sand Resort after many years having it on our staycation bucket list and it did not disappoint! Allie at the front desk check in was so nice and welcoming, very helpful making us feel right at home right away. The room was gorgeous newly remodeled and the view is seriously worth the price alone, so peaceful and calming. We dined in the patio for cocktails and small bites and everything was delicious. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to come back again soon!

We’ve been coming to Surf And Sand on and off for almost 40 years. The recent renovation is very beautiful on a property that was already amazing. Everyone was so gracious, prompt and accommodating to any of our requests during our stay. our dinner last night at Splashes with our server Patrick was fabulous as well.
