Rimrock Resort Hotel

Im from edmonton alberta, so ive seen mountains since i was a kid. sure, the view was nice, but for 1200$ for two nights? its not worth the money. room was nice, the bathroom was eh, the shower was terrible. water pressure was bad and dated shower. we ate breakfast down at the restaurant. 40$ for buffet was a joke. the food was all cold, the latte was luke warm. not worth the money. staff was great but all around not worth the price. ill stay more in town for cheaper.

I spent friday's night at the Rimrock hotel and had dinner at the Eden restaurant, dinner at Eden was amazing!, the whole team at Eden made of our night a memorable one!, Matt was so passionate and provided us with exquisite service, that was great!.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Rimrock. We were checked in by Charlotte who was so helpful and friendly and wrote me such a lovely welcome letter. We had an awesome room with breathtaking views. This was a long awaited Mother and daughter’s weekend and this hotel did not disappoint. Many happy memories were made here this weekend.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Don’t waste your money. Stay somewhere else or don’t go to Banff. Save up and go to the springs. Accor ( owns both) should be embarrassed. Booked for 4 nights left after one. Save your money. Why people put up with garbage hotels at that price is beyond me

Your hotel took advantage of us and upsold us to another room, which we thought was replacing the original room charge and not an additional charge. Instead it was a huge upsell charge which we did not budget for but it was sold to us as they can give us this room for this price. It was never stated that the fee was in addition to the original room charge. The hotel is dilapidated and disgusting. The furniture is well used, carpet is stained and definitely not worth the price tag. The pictures online are not what the room furnishings look like in real life. The room furniture is old, worn down and not well kept. The food was subpar and the drinks were not good and overpriced. The only good thing about the hotel is the coffee bar, views and the valet. The place is a con and definitely not worth the price tag. I feel that I was scammed by your hotel and it’s a disgrace to the Accor hotel group. If you are going to spend the money you should stay at the fairmont banff springs. Don’t waste your time or money at the Rimrock.
