The Danna Langkawi, Malaysia

We have just returned from a four week stay at The Danna. As repeat guests it is heartening to experience the exact same excellent, outstanding service and high standards received from the staff time and again who can best be described as "Simply the best" which is no exaggeration. A magnificent hotel made even more perfect by dedicated, professional staff all working as a team solely for the guests and doing so with obvious, friendly enthusiasm. Could we ask for more. The answer is a firm "No" for The Danna is not only our Second Home, it is an oasis containing all we could possibly want and in abundance.

I travel a lot and I have rarely experienced such a wonderful place The hotel is out of this situated in a small private beach it is so beautiful The hotel has lots of charms The rooms are really confortable big and nice The service is perfect for accommodation or food You have life music in the bar everyday What to say more it is the perfect place You are impressed when you arrive at the hotel and you are very sad when you leave Cannot wait to have more holydays to come back

Beautiful villa with private pool and beachfront (Private beach). We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed daily breakfast which had an array of yummy food. Above all, the service was fantastic - they went above and beyond (always smiling and helpful).

A 5 star resort facilities with a 3 star service. Level your expectations before you go. We went there during Chinese New Year holiday and we were quite happy with the room and overall facilities, specially the room, which is perfect, of course you pay for it. However, when it comes to the services you don’t get what you pay for. The staff is supper nice and the team is fairly big but the constant mistakes on multiple situations and the ups and downs on the quality of the food cannot justify the price tag. Specially at their italian restaurant. We went there during our first night and were super impressed with the quality of the food and decided to repeat it during our last night and was a bad experience. Food took over 1 hour to arrive, they messed the dishes and the quality and taste was very poor. We were explained that the chef didn’t show up to work at that day but this is not an excuse to have a backup. The other hotel lead chef came and was super polite to explain the situation, didn’t charge for the dishes we didn’t like and offered us free dessert but obviously it cannot pay back the enjoyment we were expecting for our last night. In summary, I wouldn’t recommend unless you get a very good deal for the rate. There are other Hotels in the Island I would try next time. Not coming back to Danna.

Excellent hotel, staff and service. Amurul and Karimi provided a fantastic service during our stay. Big shout also to Fuad. Staff are all very friendly and provide a fantastic level of service at all times. Looking forward to returning to the Danna!
