The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi is a beautiful resort that has stunning views of the sunset. The team here are impeccable in the service that they provide and what made our stay even more special was how the team went above and beyond in every way we could have hoped for adding a very special personalised touch with every interaction. My partner and I visited in December for our 19th anniversary. We stayed for a week in an ocean view, beach front villa with a private pool. The villa was spacious with a separate living area and was well appointed. In advance of our stay the resort team reached out to arrange an airport pickup and help us tailor an itinerary to match our wants. Our butler Haniff who was supported by Anas helped us plan an amazing week with spa treatments, a dining beyond package and a trip around the islands. They were on call for our every need and we couldn’t have asked for more. We were very grateful to Qistina the Restaurant Manager who went out of her way to ensure we had beautiful views for our dinners and put together a very special setting for our 19th anniversary even taking the time to create personalised menus to celebrate our event. Her team, especially Soufiyan did everything they could to make sure every minute was a fantastic experience. The team in the health spa are phenomenal. Ain, Mimi and Fazly provide exceptional treatments and again made sure that we had the best time, even going out of their way to put together a gift bag and card to celebrate our anniversary. This is a gorgeous resort. The team make it even more special by their exceptional standards of service. The food is wonderful, the spa treatments are a must for an indulgent self pampering, and the team ensure that everything you could want or need is taken care of. We can’t wait to return!

My wife and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for 5 nights as part of our 3 weeks stay in Singapore, Penang and Langkawi. The RC is set in the rainforest (but not as deeply set as The Datai) and can easily be reached from the Airport in 15/20 minutes. From the moment you arrive at Reception you’ll receive a very warm welcome from the hotel’s team. All rooms are accessible by the numerous buggy’s who also transfer guests between the Reception, bedrooms, restaurants and the pool / beach. Breakfasts are excellent in the ‘Langkawi Kitchen’. Although the RC is a ‘resort hotel’ it has the advantage of being within easy (taxi) reach of local restaurants: Route 113 & Santai Cafe both of which offer excellent Malaysian dishes (and in the case of Route 113 western dishes as well). Sunsets from the Horizon Bar are unmatched on Langkawi. The bar is set by the Adults-only pool and adjacent to the beach. A family-friendly pool is situated by the beach. The RC’s staff offer outstanding personal service. All bedrooms are very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The Ritz Carlton is well worth considering if you’re planning a stay in Langkawi.

Everything was perfect especially all staffs who are working here. 最高の休日になりました。ホテルのファシリティーは清潔で、水回りもすごく綺麗でした。スタッフの皆さんは子供たちに優しく子供3人を連れて、騒がしくしてしまった時もありましたが優しく対応していただきました。 猿がいっぱい出るので注意が必要という前情報でしたが4日間で2回しか出くわす事もなく気にはなりませんでした。 たまたまかもしれませんが、日本人のインターンシップの方もいらっしゃいました。少しお話しできて楽しかったです。
