The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

Oh my goodness, where do I start? This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we have traveled a lot. The accommodation is amazing and so comfortable, the bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the linen so soft. Housekeeping is superb and they are so kind leaving little gifts, cards and rose petalled bubble baths for your return after a day exploring the island or relaxing by the pool. The horizon bar, restaurant and pool staff are fantastic and great fun, can’t do enough to make you comfortable and happy. The welcome little treats of chilled fruit, smoothies and juices whilst relaxing were lovely touches. Great pool with beautiful scenery over the ocean. Even saw some Dolphins and Otters, not forgetting the ‘cheeky monkeys’!! Nice beach to swim in. The Ocean Grill and the Chinese Restaurant are absolutely fantastic and I have done a separate review for them. The Breakfasts at the Langkawi restaurant are superb and all tastes are catered for as there is a huge selection of food and drinks available. We hired a car organised by the front desk which was fun and such easy driving. Grab taxis easy, cheap and great for going into Chenang. The one outstanding thing about this hotel are the staff, they are all so genuine, kind, happy, caring and fantastic at doing their jobs. We will definitely return as it’s been fabulous and we are returning home completely relaxed after the most wonderful holiday in the best hotel with friendliest staff we have ever experienced. We haven’t named the staff individually as there are too many to mention. Thank you all so much!!

I would say, thanks to every staffs here. They made my trip pleasant and lovely. I truly enjoyed my stay here! ❤️ food was great, room was clean, staffs were attentive and polite. Nothing bad to comment :) i would definitely be back here again in the near future

It was great and very clean place, we enjoyed every single moment. Starting from checkin to checkout. I really want to thank Ms. Zoe for arranging everything, Mr. Ilei and Mr. Ahmad, housekeepers and all stuff. The only thing that bother us is the plenty of the insects. One of the most luxurious stay, Staring from Villa, one of the best ocean villa Apart from the property it’s the people who made the stay comfortable Starting from Mr Inteqam the guest relationship manager Chef Shafiq @ Langkawi Kitchen for serving the delicacies with love. Rahim, Our go to guy for going around the resort and city. SPA was nothing short of magical healing place . ILIE @ Lobby for the smooth check in and check out experience. @Horizon the place to be, one of the most serene place to visit at night and the cocktail they serve … is wow @ritz kids our kiddo enjoyed to the fullest at kids club and every where around the property. Special mention again for Inteqam for being the best Guest Relationship manager I have ever interacted with. Will be coming back soon to the same place for sure.
