Nice hotel - great room with view but with some minor updating required. Very clean and tidy. Room service was excellent as was the porterage. Pools were a bit fresh but ok for a dip - it is November!!. Very well maintained though. Didn't use the Spa this time but always been great in the past. Breakfast in the World Cafe was good but very busy. This is our forth or fifth visit and we will be back.

I have just returned from a week here with family and friends. On arrival at the hotel, I did have a few issues with my room but these were quickly sorted by the hotel. The hotel has a number of restaurants and as we were all inclusive, we did decide to try them (originally we had planned to go out for dinner). Bluewater Grill is by far the best - beef tenderlion comes with a coal stove where you can cook to your desired taste. We found Portfino to be the worst - staff were rude and food was tasteless. Oceana was nicer but not amazing. The staff at the pool and pool bar are lovely, as were the staff bu the sushi bar of an evening. We didn't watch any of the evening entertainment as we used to eat a bit later. Rooms are nice although the walls are pretty thin! You can hear toilets flushing and people moving around (more so if you have your a/c off). The hotel is in a lovely location, perfect for a week of sunshine and if you get a good deal to add all inclusive then it's worth it for the drinks and breakfast/lunch buffet alone.

Excellent hotel with great staff and amazing food. The Secrets brand really is excellent. I think the pool could be warmer and better music played in pool area and gym (less cheesy music aimed at teens as this is an adult only hotel). The steak restaurant was absolutely incredible. Loved the Italian too. Overall and excellent stay Loved our suite too. 10 out of 10.

I will start with the exceptional - the service I received at Secrets was truly five star. Everyone - from the bars, the restaurants, reception, pool staff was excellently trained. It does make a true difference in the experience. My room was on the fourth floor - beautiful balcony overlooking the Ocean. Higher floor would have had an even better view. Room was clean and tidied up methodically every day. Preferred club included daily turndown service with chocolates, which was always perfectly timed. I had a tiny issue with the flush on my toilet, which was fixed instantaneously and professionally. If you stay here (and budget allows), I would suggest you go Preferred Club. It gives you full options of dining at the a la carte restaurants, which I found superior to the offering of the World Cafe buffet. Also the outdoor seating of the Portofino restaurant is perfect for a start of the day in the sun. It also gives you access to the Preferred Club pool and the beautiful bar and terrace close to the promenade. Be advised that's the closest you will get to the Ocean due to the nature of the terrain. Drinks were of excellent quality, and service at the bar was always with a smile. As for location - the hotel is nestled between the Puerto Calero Marina and cliffs which I understood to be part of a natural reserve. A real gem and underdeveloped part of the island. The walk to the Marina was about 10 minutes, paved promenade. The Marina has a market twice a week selling souvenirs and it also has a number of restaurants and bars, which I didn't try so can't comment on quality. It also had stands with offers for water taxi to Puerto Carmen and other water sports. Again, won't comment on the quality of these experiences as I didn't partake. I travelled solo and found the hotel to be a good match for what I wanted - relaxation. It's adult only with a truly mixed crowd, at the time I stayed predominantly German and British clientele. It was truly serene and I look forward to an opportunity to be back. Special thanks to Konte at reception and Carla from Customer services, who went above and beyond. Thank you.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Secrets in Lanzarote and it certainly won’t be the last time. I can’t praise the place enough: the staff are wonderful, always helpful and always friendly and cheerful. The hotel is calm and restful. It is a really great place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended.
