Hesperia Lanzarote

We stayed here in October 2024. To be honest the Preffered sections of the hotel were outstanding, without sounding like a snob some of the other aspects of the hotel weren't so great. Before I go any further we are normal working people, who simply like our holidays. Reception was fine, could have been a bit friendlier but not bad. We were initially given a preferred room with a smoking area right by our balcony. On contacting reception we were moved. The rooms are lovely. The Preferred Restaurants are faultless, as is the food. We tried the World Cafe on 2 occasions, but it was awful. It has to be said they really need wristbands or something as, after paying so much extra money people were just coming to the preffered pool who hadn't payed the extra.

I must say as my first solo trip i was blown away, from the moment I had arrived I was greeted by friendly receptionist who also gave a complimentary glass of processo( which i couldn't say no too) to then have my bags taken up to my room. From start to finish definitely a 5* service. The hotel is beautiful and everyone is super friendly. There was girl in particular I believe her name was Carla she was lovely and made me feel so welcome. Definitely try out the spa also was very relaxing massage. Only thing is as a heads up. The spa facilities are not complimentary so if wanting to use the pool / sauna etc you will have to pay additional if not already included in your bookings. But everything was great and I will definitely go there agian. Thank you. 😊

Christmas in Secrets is special. The staff are amazing exceptional service.If you need any support during your stay Guest Experience team are always available. Great variety of restaurants and the cocktail list are great.Take time to do some yoga and other activities.

What an absolute gem of a find. My first experience of an 'adults only' resort. I went with a friend on a last minute booking. The staff were outstanding, at all times we felt totally pampered and attended to. The location was stunning and the hotel tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone.

This is a very good hotel. Two stand out staff members: Dragana and Roman. They are both excellent. We booked this hotel as we had stayed in the Secrets in Jamaica (MoBay). The food is great but in some areas of the hotel, it is looking a bit ‘tired’ and could do with a repaint/refurb. Some of the drinks areas can be slow to serve sometimes but all in all, this was a great place to visit and the rooms were fine. We went for the Premium Club experience which affords use of an additional pool and bar and drinks options. I’m pleased we did. The hotel is also a short walk to the marina, which is a nice area to eat and get boat trips to other parts of the island.
