MGM not so grand
Nothing special about the room. I would not choose to stay at MGM grand again. The pool was over crowded, the casino area was smoky. I know, we’re staying at a casino but some of the other big hotel/casinos had better ventilation. Plus, we aren’t big gamblers so I think we would have been better not staying at one of the big casino hotels. We did see some good shows including KA, which plays at MGM. Also, the food in the restaurants we tried was overpriced and not tasty.

Consider staying at the Venetian instead of the MGM Grand
I choose the MGM Grand due to the location and because it was a little cheaper than the Venetian. However, I now realize that I should have listened to my wife who had previously stayed at the Venetian. I had two minor issues with my room not worth mentioning. However, at the MGM I observed a extreme difference between employees work ethic. Some workers at checkout/check-in made an obvious effort to help customers while others were so dismissive that I question the involvement of management. I also witness an individual on security allow three people pass their security check without checking for room keys. The security asked one of the customers of the three if they had their key but did not insist on seeing it. Needless to say our next stay will not be at the MGM.

Will go again.
I received outstanding service. The casino is very clean and smells pleasant. I never waited a long time for elevators and all the staff seem to be in a very calm and friendly mood. I really felt welcome and it was a nice getaway from my day today. Felt like a true mini vacation.

My stay at MGM
Room was extremely loud at all times of the day and night and there was still trash in all the trash cans was still in my room from previous people who occupied it. The check in process was nice and easy but other then that my stay wasn’t very pleasant at all.

First and LAST time.
Over priced mediocre place to stay. I would avoid as their prices and fees are outrageous and their staff is not helpful. The bed was hard, the shower did not get hot and the water pressure was awful. They will overcharge you for parking. Will avoid in the future.
