I have been to the Venetian/Palazzo numerous times. This will be my last time. Although, I reserved my room through American Express and was entitled to a free upgrade, I had to pay for the upgrade. The comforter on my bed had dry blood on it and it took 2 days to get it replaced. Also, the cleaning staff left us with no soap, hair shampoo, hair conditioner or lotion. I called at 8AM letting the staff know I had an appointment at 9AM. I had to call 4 times and the replacements did not show up until 8:57AM causing me to miss my appointment. Also, the carpeting was coming up at the seams and when I informed the staff, they did not care. Finally, I found the dealers unfriendly which resulted in us gambling at other casinos.

I used to consider the Palazzo a luxury property on par with the Wynn or the Four Seasons. Even thought I booked a Grand Suite, the experience was a bitter disappointment. This included everything from room service, to amenities, to the bathroom towels. The whole experience felt more like a giant cruise ship, rather than a luxury resort. The failure of the Palazzo experience started with room service. Even when I called at 6:30am they were quoting 90 minutes delivery times. Call at 8pm and you were quoted 2 hours. When I called for extra towels it took 45 minutes, extra hangers? 40 minutes. They brag about being the biggest hotel in North America but they operate like a cruise ship, not a 5 star hotel. There were no amenities in the vanity, no face cream, no q-tips, no drinking glasses add to that the poor quality of the towels that felt rewashed from the gym and you can imagine my disappointment. I wouldn't mind if it was 200 a night but for 400 a night, it was a disappointment. This is no longer a property for a discerning traveler or high rolling gamer. It is a pedestrian convention hotel with elaborate design and great dining and nightlife venues. The experience of being a guest, leaves everything to be desired.

All rooms are sweets in They are nice. We got a strip view room and it was beautiful at night. You can request for service anytime of the day and it's not limited. There's also pull-down service at night upon request. I like this hotel over the Venetian any day because parking is also easier.

I have stayed at this property many times for annual work events. The property is very grand and luxurious, but the stay did not give the same: (1) A couple of my bathroom towels had long strands of hair on them. (2) The trim detail in front of the sink was cruddy and dusty. (3) There was a towel/rag of some kind stuffed behind the headboard of the bed that I'd been sleeping in that I didn't discover until the last night of my stay. (4) The shower glass was not clean. (5) I had to call maintenance as soon as I arrived in the room because none of the outlets in the bathroom were working. (6) The phone in my room, near the bed was so dusty it took two cleaning wipes to get it clean.

The Palazzo is nice and has spacious rooms but the table minimums and slot minimums are way too high. Everything is very expensive, I've been here many times before but have noticed that the cost here has gone up quite a bit but the services and facilities are still the same. If nothing has changed then why has the price of everything increased so much? I normally spend all my time at this resort, but on this trip we explored the Wynn and the Sahara because they seemed more reasonable.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. From the first encounter to the last they make you feel special, and like you are at a special hotel. The lobby is beautiful. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The casino is large and laid out in a fashion that allows you to move around easily. Overall we loved this hotel and look forward to returning!
