Nice hotel…watch out for the gotchas

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Rooms are very nice and spacious. Watch out for all the extra fees making the room nearly $100 more than the advertised rate. It’s the method of looking competitive, yet hitting their guests. When I arrived, I arrived early, and they had a special offer (just put down by the manager - yeah sure) for $50. I could upgrade my room and check in right away or I could pay a $50 early check-in fee for the same room.

Great hotel with reasonable price

As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, I stay at this hotel for 7 days before Christmas 2024. This is the hotel with the highest CP value of all the hotels I have stayed in Las Vegas so far. I want to thank the front desk staff Jose for his warm welcome and help when I checked in of this hotel.

Great rooms for families. Highly recommend

Great hotel option for families. Be warned that it is a walk to get to the strip. You can walk out via the driveway which is quicker but can also walk through undercover enclosed walkways to mgm grand hotel and casino. Also if you have a car parking was included in our stay. Rooms are big and having the kitchenette was helpful with a family. They also allowed me to use the laundry downstairs which was free of charge as long as you have your own detergent. Our room was in tower 3 and on the PH levels. It also overlooked the sphere and we could see parts of the strip. It is our second time staying here. We would stay again with families. If traveling from the airport. It is a 10min drive (to almost anything from the airport) and cost in a taxi is a flat $25 rate +

Great stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Lovely room with comfy bed and nice view. Somewhat of a walk to the Uber/Lyft area but not terrible. The monorail is not far either. Very quiet at night and that was nice after the craziness of the Strip. Loved having in room coffee and minifridge. Hoping to return soon.

Lack of service is disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Service continues to go down hill, direct you to use mobile key doesn’t work, tell you to use kiosk to get physical key no kiosk at building, only one person working at front desk have to wait in long line to get key Had hot water issues front desk told me to return to my room and call for help and wait in my room until resolved. It’s clear MGM has really declined while at the same time jacking up junk fees. On the flip side the room was great

We just had the pleasure of staying in a lovely suite at the MGM Grand. It was a joy to be able to enjoy the action on the strip and come back to the hotel for peace and comfort - we loved the jacuzzi tub and plush bed. I will most likely only stay here when I return to Vegas!
