About the Hotel

Find all of the beauty and drama of Venice in a most unlikely place when you check into The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino on the Strip in Las Vegas. With soaring marble pillars, works of art and entire facades painstakingly recreated, not to mention actual canals with singing gondoliers gliding past, The Venetian captures the magic of Italy perfectly. The Grand Canal Shoppes, including some of the most sought-after designer names, and restaurants run by some of most highly regarded chefs, line the canals beneath vaulted, hand-painted ceilings. An 112,000 square foot casino awaits those ready to try their luck at the famed tables, while a variety of activities offer additional diversity. The Venetian is a chance to walk through halls of history, explore the beauty of one of Italy's most famous cities, and to experience the wonders that Las Vegas has to offer - in one spectacular resort.

Reviews for The Venetian

Dated

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 12 hours ago

We stayed here many years ago and remember that it was difficult to access our room via stairs (I don't use elevators). It was interesting to re-visit to watch the Shin Lin show. The Venetian shopping area now looks dated with lots of tacky shops - it is so huge that I felt trapped as it was difficult to orientate ourselves. We were supposed to eat at one of the many restaurants but decided to leave and return later for the show. The gondolas are now $40 per person and you have to share with strangers unless you are a group of 4. The rides last 10-13 minutes and don't look great.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. Yes, expensive but you get what you pay for. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Only small issue no refrigerator only a mini bar. High end shopping and dining within palazzo/Venetian. Each has a grand lux cafe which is a good mid level restaurant.

Great Venue, Attached to Sphere

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We went there for a long weekend to see the Eagles and Barry Manilow in concert. The suites were really nice plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of restaurants on the 1st two levels and shops and of course the casino. There are really no quiet areas and the common areas are very crowded and loud but typical of Las Vegas. Great staff in hotel, restaurants, and Sphere.

We are regulars at the Venetian. Absolutely love this resort and refuse to stay anywhere else. The resort staff is always so pleasant and helpful. The grounds are kept very clean. The rooms are large and very nice. I love the newly renovated suites. I highly recommend it!

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
