Altis Avenida Hotel

The hotel is perfectly located, very clean and beautiful. The receptionists are very nice, warm and helpful. when they learned it was my birthday, they send a cake and a bottle of wine to my room, I was really touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness. I definitely will be back again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Alitis Avenida Hotel and would stay again. The staff was great, example breakfast hostess remembered my name. There was a welcome small bottle of port and pasteis de nata on check in. Stayed in single superior. Very nice size, housekeeping was also great and overall customer service was wonderful. Location was great for transportation, close to Rossio train station and Metro stop. Several tourist sites were with 20 minute walk or so. The hills are no joke, so I cheated and used Bolt pretty often.

Well, what can I say! This is a fabulous hotel led by the staff who were all of the highest order. We arrived earlier than check in and the staff across the board from reception to housekeeping helped get our room ready early. Everything about the place was 5* it is about the staff though, everyone were polite professional cheerful and friendly I can't credit them enough. Towards the end of our stay, I became a bit ill the staff all showed concern to ensure I was alright even checking on me in the evening and indeed the following morning. To the management, your staff should all be commended, 1st class and are a credit to your company, thank you.

Excellent service and comfortable stay. I can recommend this hotel. Very good location. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Hade deluxe room with balcony with nice view. Easy to get to most locations, and recommend using bolt since it's alot cheaper.

We had a stellar stay at Altis Avenida and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon! The location was perfectly situated and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the metro, and so many areas of interest. The buffet breakfasts on the top floor of the hotel provided stunning views of the city from every table inside, but you also had the option to sit outside. Each morning the breakfasts were varied and always delicious, so be sure to choose a rate that includes it. The art deco decor was beautiful and the rooms were kept spotless - twice a day cleaning was a treat that we did not expect. The bed was comfortable, the Portuguese linens were a treat, and the black out shades kept the room nice and dark for perfect sleep. The strong water pressure in the beautiful marble clad shower was another unexpected perk. The best surprise of all, however, was the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff who always went out of their way to make our stay perfect. I cannot remember everyone’s name, but Isabel and Julia were exceedingly helpful and offered wonderful suggestions about where to go and what to do. We had an excellent stay and look forward to going back soon!
