Altis Avenida Hotel

This hotel was fantastic! Comfortable beds, amazing shower with great water pressure and water gets hot fast. Very clean as well. It is centrally located in the heart of the city and is perfect for shopping, restaurants & exploring. Nice rooftop bar. Ubers & taxis are everywhere if needed. The staff were very accommodating as well! Highly recommend!

What an amazing hotel! The location, property and staff were outstanding!! We would go back for a visit in a heartbeat!! Breakfast provided was wonderful and attention to detail was amazing! The staff was impeccable. Would highly recommend!!

Sometimes it’s the little touches in a hotel that make you feel truly special, and during my brief two-night stay at the Altis Avenida, I was incredibly impressed. I arrived late on Tuesday evening after a long layover, traveling to Lisbon for business. From the moment my taxi pulled up, the experience was fantastic. The doorman greeted me by name as he opened the door—such a warm, personal touch! Inside, check-in was smooth and efficient, and I must say, Rui is an absolute credit to the hotel. Friendly and helpful, he even accompanied me to my room, providing all the information I needed. It was, without a doubt, one of the best welcomes I’ve ever had to a hotel.. The room itself was modern and well-appointed. It included a mini bar fridge, complimentary coffee, tea, water, and a lovely bottle of wine that I thoroughly enjoyed. The bed was comfortable, and the free WiFi was fast, allowing me to cast to the TV, which was a nice feature. The TV could perhaps be a bit larger and more up-to-date, but that’s a minor detail. The bathroom was stocked with everything I needed, and the shower was outstanding—great water pressure! I had breakfast at the hotel on Wednesday morning, and the experience was equally delightful. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant with wonderful views. After breakfast, I enjoyed a coffee outside, taking in the beauty of Lisbon—a perfect start to my day. Due to work commitments, I didn’t get to spend as much time at the hotel as I’d have liked. However, the excellent service continued, with staff arranging a taxi that was ready and waiting for my early 4:40 a.m. departure. This was my first trip to Lisbon, with many more to come as we have new clients here. I’ll certainly be staying at Altis Avenida again and will be recommending it to my colleagues. The warm, attentive staff truly make this hotel a must-stay destination.

Lovely hotel, amazing staff, perfect location. Staying here made our long weekend in Lisbon so perfect The decor and things like free water and nibbles (and Cava) in the bar downstairs were fantastic. The staff were so good and so friendly it was like you had always known them It is situated right in the middle of Baxia so its so convenient for everything

The hotel is centrally located to everything making it very convenient. The beds were very comfortable. Service was excellent. The breakfast offered a wide array of foods and was more than adequate. The rooftop bar and restaurant had an amazing view of the city. I would recommend. We felt very safe in this section of the city. Note: that the rooms are ample, but not large.
