Very nice hotel situated close to shopping and restaurants. Very nice rooftop bar and restaurant with a fantastic view. Although I asked for an early check, they said the room was not ready but would put a priority on it if I paid $120 in euros. I did just because I wanted to get settled but after having to check with them after an 1.5 hours it was not worth it. So save your money there. Concierge was helpful but did give us one bad recommendation but overall they were helpful. They arranged a nice 4 hour tour of Lisbon which was great; they overcharged us by $1,000 BUT DID CORRECT IT ON THE BILL AT CHECH OUT, SO REVIEW YOUR ROOM CHARGES. They incorrectly charged us for a couple of mini bar items but did give us a credit. The breakfast was fantastic; the waffles are to die for. However, I did not like my room. I had a one bedroom executive suite which was too close to the elevator - we could hear it going up and down nightly. The room was located on a low floor which allowed us to hear a lot of street noise. The bathroom commode was not stable and was loose and wobbled. Also there was appearance of mold in two places around the sink. They brought water, fresh treats or fruit everyday which was a nice touch. Overall a very nice hotel but be careful of the room selection and billing.

It was a great experience at the restaurant. Thank you in particular to Alexa for being so kind and gracious. She treated us so well and we would love to come back and be served by her again. Very nice restaurant, facilities, food and particularly service.

We had a quick stay which was sad, because this was a fantastic hotel! The staff at checkin and check out were great. The rooms were so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. But, our favorite was the Sky Bar. The atmosphere up there was awesome. The view, the sommelier and the food was so good! We are in Lisbon often and will most definitely stay there again.

While this is a large, modern hotel and I typically look for more boutique type hotels, I was so happy in this hotel. They upgraded our room to a Junior Suite and it was very large and the staff was amazing. The rooftop bar had an amazing view. The location is on the Champs-Elysees of Lisbon. Lovely window shopping but not an overly historic area. We had a king bed which is not always easy to find and was so comfortable. Loved this hotel.

My experience at the Tivoli Avenida Liberdade was definitely 5-star. I extensively researched every 5-star hotel in Lisbon (including The Four Seasons) before finally deciding to stay at the Tivoli. Its location and the overall "vibe" and decor of the rooms, the Junior Suites and the Executive Suites seemed more comfortable and less generic than the other hotels. Not to mention the location, which is probably the best location in Lisbon. The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the concierge desk to the managers on duty. I especially enjoyed the lobby bar for several reasons: (1) the menu was excellent and the live music was fantastic. (2) They had a great duo (guitar and drums) with a superb repertoire, from jazz to reggae and everything in between and they were never too loud and overpowering. (3) the lobby itself was very spacious and airy, with high ceilings and great airflow, so in these days of Covid, you weren't stuck in a bar with limited airflow and super spreader conditions. The breakfast was excellent and was served in the beautiful restaurant that had large windows overlooking the tree-lined Avenida. It was so lovely and peaceful, which made it a great way to start the day. I am allergic to caffeine so the managers made extra sure that my cappuccinos were always decaf. I felt so well taken care of, and every morning upon entering the restaurant I received such a warm welcome -- I could just go on and on, but suffice it to say that my experience was definitely 5 stars all the way !
