The Sage Lodge is an exceptional facility and very well run. It’s great to be so close to Yellowstone Park but stay in well planned facility. We will definitely return.

A really great lodge and place to stay. Tons of activities: horseback riding, fishing, fishing lessons, ax throwing, hiking, etc...Rooms are nice but not that large; perfectly suitable with awesome views of the mountains and local pond with mule deer abound. There is a restaurant and bar on site. The bar offers up creative cocktails and is a nice place to enjoy a meal. It sits in the indoor portion of the restaurant. There is also an outdoor section which we frequented because the weather was excellent. The food is good in the restaurant, but the service is just so-so. Like many other places since the pandemic, they've clearly struggled with hiring and training employees. That's one of my nits about the service: just provide some elementary training on how to pour wines, respond to requests etc.

The Sage Lodge is absolutely worth the travel hours to get there. It offers a unique and perfectly planned setting. Immediately restful. The views are stunning. Very fine architectural details. Excellent food, activities, staff.

We booked one night last minute as an add on to a Yellowstone trip. Immediately upon arrival I wished I had booked a longer stay. Lodge is beautiful and staff was super friendly and attentive. Tons of things to do if you stayed longer. Food was great and really reasonably priced for a "resort". Room prices may seem a bit much, but once you get there and experience the views and service you'll see why its worth it.

We stayed there 3 nights. The views are beautiful. The room is nice. A bit noisy as you can hear people next door and in the hallway. Everything was fine. So why not 5 stars? The front desk. If you call for something, no one answers. You have to go down there and ask them in person. Sometimes the person there knew nothing. For the price we paid, that is ridiculous. But, we did enjoy our stay.
