The presidential was perfect and well appointed, spacious and comfortable all the staff exceed our expectations many thanks to miss Tia for her help. The club intercontinental is a must and the restaurant and bar are very tasty. We will come back in the next future.

Hotels in Ljubljana aren't pricey. This is probably one of the best Intercontinentals you'll find on a per Euro basis. Positives - rooms are large and v well appointed. Like all IC, a big notch above Hilton, but less than Ritz Carlton etc - food is good at breakfast and in the restaurant - excellent gym, pool, sauna with great views Points to think about - bed very hard. (I didn't sleep that well (which could have been the quantity of Slovenian red wine...) - I wish hotels would publish their pool sizes. I emailed and got the information. 11m i.e. too short for decent lengths BUT they failed to mention that it has a swimming jet, but I hadn't packed goggles. Grrr. - the location is fine if you don't mind walking 10 mins to the tourist centre. But if that's an issue, there are very nice looking historical boutique hotels in that area (likely with less in the way of gym/pool etc) - the service in the restaurant was oddly welcoming and absent. I didn't get offered coffee at breakfast and actually had to go to the front desk to get it.

Stayed three nights. The room was large and modern. Quite comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. Unfortunately there was a conference going on so sometimes it was a bit boisterous and seemed the hotel was a 'private club' but that is typical with large groups. It is on the edge of the old town so the area lacks charm but makes up for it with large modern rooms and easy access by car. Overall I recommend and would stay again.

A true 5 stars. Fantastic room with all amenities, spacious and functional, stunning views from the twentieth floor of the city where there is a bar with a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. Quality breakfast with variety. Possibility to park in a garage next door at a reasonable price. 5 minutes walk from the city center at the end of the main avenue

A large, top of the range hotel which lives up to its billing. Five minutes’ walk from the train and bus stations and 10 minutes from the Three Bridges, it is ideally located. Our room was large and very well appointed, with a desk, ample storage, fridge, safe, separate bath, w.c. and shower, minibar, tea and coffee maker etc. Breakfast (both cooked to order and buffet) was extensive and excellent quality, taken in the floor 20 restaurant with fine city views. Rooms were cleaned and serviced to a high standard. We found staff very helpful. If seeking a fault all we could find was that the sink design means the plug can’t be closed (maybe a problem for shavers or contact lens users). But all in all a first class hotel
