The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

Our stay at the Oberoi, Lombok was exceptional. From the lovely grounds in a stunning setting looking across to Gili Air to our spacious and extremely well- and very practically (eg line for wet swim gear etc) apportioned villa with its shaded yet open verandah; from the consistent and attentive service from smiling staff throughout the day and evening, to the generous attention to detail eg organising for a damaged (from our flight) suitcase to be capably stitched and ready for use again; from the great range of free activities to the outdoor or indoor dining with different options eg gluten free, including a whole GF breakfast menu; from the extra activities eg we booked two trips to the Gili Islands for snorkelling (fabulous guides and conditions) and a trip (great driver) to do the short hike to two waterfalls in the north to our swims in the good-sized pool am and pm; from seeing the plant life and hearing the bird calls and other small wildlife in the grounds to the stunning sunsets. A beautiful experience overall. Very grateful.

The entire staff at the Oberoi have been so kind and attentive, leaving no stone unturned. From arranging boats, cars, scooter rentals, and food recommendations, they all made our stay comfortable and easy. We loved Harry and many of the other staff members who took time to talk to us and tell us more about the area and what brought them to the Oberoi. If you’re looking for a little piece of paradise come stay at the Oberoi here in Lombok!

We are frequent travelers and have visited many hotels and resorts. This was one of the best. Excellent service, a beautifully maintained property that has clearly been continuously invested in. The staff in all areas was outstanding and warm-hearted. We can recommend this resort 100 percent.
