About the Hotel

From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

Location & Service can't be beat

Always the warmest service, clean rooms and the Andaz spirit. The location makes it ideal to explore Borough Market and Spitalfields. Also have been always been a fan of the evening happy hour and the free mini-bar. My all time fav' spot in London.

Incredible Experience!

I love this hotel, I have run a number of Events here but this was my first time staying over. The whole process was amazing, from checking in, to the room and the gift of chocolates arranged by Willow was a really lovely touch. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were incredible. I can't wait to come back! Thank you Andaz Team!

Great local Hyatt with amazing staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Such a great Hyatt. The location was so convenient, I was a 5 minute block away from our London Bishops Gate office. There were also endless shops and restaurants very close not to mention London Bridge and the train stations being great. But what made this Hyatt really stand out to was the hotel staff. From the front desk to room service to house keeping it was fantastic. The lobby is so fun and there are always snacks and beverages available. In your room you also have a fridge with little snacks and a few drinks for your pleasure. Tip : you can access the restaurant without leaven the hotel but only from the second and third floors. Would 100% stay again for business or vacation!

Very nice hotel

Very nice and classy hotel in busy London area. We booked a 1 bedroom large suite using (A LOT OF) points and this hotel exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the welcome drinks at check in and I really appreciated the message letting me know our room was ready (prior to 3pm!) The happy hour from 6-7 is great, and the stocked mini bar in the room is ever so helpful whilst traveling. The size of the room exceeded our expectations; we had a full-on apartment! Complete with a separate twin bed setup which was already made, a separate bedroom and bathroom which was nice that it wasn’t attached to the bedroom for added privacy. The bathroom had a shower and a full size extra big tub that was lovely to soak in after a long weekend of walking around London. The bath toiletries were also lovely and I may be buying some to take home with me:) My only complaint was the Saturday night we were there, loud music started playing around 7pm and by 11pm, had no signs of stopping. I’m a light sleeper and wear earplugs and the bass was ringing in my ears. I finally had to call the front desk at 11pm and the music was turned down (apparently there was some sort of event?). We were on the 3rd floor so I can’t imagine we were the only ones hearing it, but for a 5 star hotel and the price of our room, this seemed completely unacceptable. I do appreciate how quickly they addressed the issue, but the fact that I even had to listen to it for 4 hours and call so late, was a bit frustrating. All that aside, we really enjoyed our stay here and enjoyed a meal at 1701 for breakfast buffet and at their Lady Abercorns pub, all very good. The hotel met all of our needs and then some! We would return again.

Not a five star hotel... wrongly labelled.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I was disappointed by the hotel. It's very dated, and I think across the street, The Pan Pacific is much nicer. The restaurants are not great here - not exciting, the service is really mediocre, for a five-star hotel...Id say its more of a four to be honest. Its not the worst stay but not the best either, and it definitely needs an uplift.
