From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

I just finished staying at the Andaz London Liverpool hotel and loved it! Not only was it super close to all the best neighborhoods like Shoreditch but it was also 2 minutes walking distance from the trains and I was able to take a direct tube to the airport. The beds were incredbily comfortable, I felt so safe, and the hotel was so chic. 10/10 recommend

I will never stay at another hotel in London. I was completely impressed with the entire experience from check in, to the amazing breakfast and most of all the location of which this hotel is located. The room was fabulous - modern, clean with all amenities one could ask for. VERY quiet (and I was facing the street). Incredible bed and pillows - slept like a dream! Complimentary wine in the evenings - I can go on and on. What a lovely stay - Andaz will forever be my hotel when I return to London !

It was a nice stay. I really enjoyed the service from the room (very modern, there are free drinks and snacks) and the view of the street. Only one small problem I had, I informed twice about my festive event and there was no reference to it during the stay.

Following issues during a visit earlier in the year I thought I would give the Andaz another try. Firstly, the front of house staff were excellent. So, I must give credit where its due. Breakfast was also top notch. However, the room remains disappointing. The room we stayed in (444) was underwhelming. The room is tired looking with worn fixtures and fittings. The bathroom being the worst aspect. Build up of mould around the waste trap in the shower and not clean. Also, a large chip with sharp edges in the ceramic tray, along with a broken tap on the shower head. The cold shower tap was not fitted flush with the tiles and was protruding out of the wall. The standard of cleaning and disrepair reminds me of something you would find in a budget hotel and certainly not the level you would expect from this hotel.

Well worth a visit - full of character, good dining choices, & wonderful staff. Rooms are well-appointed & lack of outside noise is the best. Nothing is too much trouble for the well-trained staff. Will definitely stay here again. This was the Great Eastern railway hotel. Ask to see the Masonic Temple!
