From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

In the race of excellence, Andaz Liverpool Street Station is the top 1 Andaz property in Europe. Now, the hotel is offering bikes for its guests. A real visionary idea to explore the City of London, to try Cable Street or to reach the Towers of London or the docks along the Thames river. I stayed in Andaz Amsterdam, Andaz Vienna and Andaz Prague (former Sugar palace). And I would say that the sense of service, the quality of luxury hospitality and the spirit of freedom and creativity are higher inside this iconic hotel property. Everything is shaped by a great spirit of imagination. If London is the capital of imagination, Andaz Liverpool Street station is probably the best ambassador of this atmosphere. The long history from the Great Eastern Railway Company to the recent design accomplishments under the leadership of Sir Terence Conran offers a great experience for the guests. Every floor has a creative soul to offer and of course extra details to explore in term of architecture and design. The diversity of the outlets restaurants is a big plus. You can always escape the corridor and approach a lot of art works. The meeting rooms are fabulous for that. Don't miss to visit the Egyptian temple which is now the Wellness center and the Greek Masonic Temple which hosts many creative events. The environment around the hotel is also every unique : Sky Garden, Horizon 22, Garden at the 120, Bloomberg Mithraeum Museum, Guild hall, Leadenhall Market, Towers of London... Last but not least, Barbican centre and Spitafields area. Last but not least, I would like to congratulate Sam from Perth, Australia for his kindness and his professionalism. He was my Andaz host. And the early check in was absolutely perfect.

Andaz London Liverpool was in a great location. We loved being able to go out and hop right on the tube. We didn’t explore “The City” neighborhood around the hotel, but we loved being able to get where we needed to be quickly and easily. The buffet and a la carte breakfast options on site were very good. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We booked this hotel for our delayed anniversary trip. Whilst the price was reasonable and initial impressions with the small but boutique foyer were good it soon went downhill. We booked a king room with breakfast for two nights. The room was dark and smaller than expected with no natural light. The room was adjacent to what I can only describe as a central silo shaped space. This housed the lifts and access to all floors. The room looked tired and dull given no natural light or view of the city. One of the main issues with the room and the silo space was the noise. We were there on the 4-5 December 2024 and the hotel had Christmas events on in the evening up until midnight both nights. The echoing noise would fill the silo and come through the fire so loud it was as though the party was in our room. There were no other rooms available so we were stuck there. We didn’t sleep comfortably on both nights not only cos of the Xmas events but also because of the general business being conducted by the staff in the hotel. The noise of glass bins being emptied and furniture being moved about also echoed up the silo and into our room. The soundproofing of the room door was very poor and acted as a speaker for the silo noise and anything walking passed the room. So our stay was greatly hindered because of this and left us feeling very disappointed and feel like the 5* hotel status.

Noises from above my room with people talking at 5am, towel or sheets shooting down a laundrette shoot every 10 minutes & staff entering our room at 9.30am to refill the drinks fridge, prior to our departure. This hotel is not a 5 star rated offering in my opinion.
