Stayed one night as I was on a training course in London. We were checked in by Elena who was very friendly and efficient. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely and appreciated: thank you. Brunello bar has a good range of drinks, including cocktails and champagne although by the glass it is limited. The junior suite was spacious and comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was large with a good shower and sufficient towels. Large closet space for clothes with a separate light Breakfast was very quiet and plentiful. We enjoyed what we had. Well located for West and central London with good transport links or just walk. Kensington Garden just opposite.

circa 1980's decor in the rooms, and technologically. Most rooms have side views, nothing uplifting there. But a good location right on the park, nice to walk out the door and be in the park. Breakfast was weak, too limited. Gym is teeny but passable, has enough equipment and was clean.

We had a spacious two room suite with dark wood throughout. We loved having all the space! The linens were deliciously white and crisp. The staff was nice. There’s an all night room service menu, which is great for returning late from theatre. Many outlets in the room and thankfully, LOTS of shelf space for stuff instead of drawers. However, the shelves were dark, the room was dark and gloomy—so we had to use a flashlight to see things in the closet with shelves. Overall this hotel doesn’t seem to have its act together. The sofa in our living room was heavily soiled and missing its back cushions, meaning the seats were unacceptably deep—if you wanted to sit back, you were actually sitting against the sofa’s back structure. Two small flat, ineffectual throw pillows much smaller than the sofa were supposed to suffice. We didn’t bother to call them to get something else. Hardly 5 stars. Sometimes the front desk failed to answer the phone. Room service answered its phone only half the time and some of that time it was answered by someone who didn’t speak English and was unable to take our order. A bowl of oatmeal ordered without milk was served swimming in milk. We explained to the server we did not want milk and she returned with a bowl of raw, uncooked oats. The AC didn’t seem to adjust—it was the same overly cold temp in the BR no matter where we set the thermostat, even after the bellman adjusted. The LR was warmer. Our view was of the other side of the building, nothing charming. The hot water appears to be rationed and doesn’t adjust reliably because it ran out by the time I was ready to condition my hair in the shower. Unpleasant cold shower! The location was on the other end of where we normally stay but it was nice to walk Kensington Park. We won’t stay here again. Quite overpriced. Really a 3 star hotel.

Baglioni Hotel London was a fantastic choice in Kensington area for a hotel close to Buckingham Palace and 10 min walk to Harrods! Lovely boutique hotel impeccably appointed with friendly and welcoming staff. Room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Fantastic to have a Lavazza coffee machine in the room for convenience. Hotel has a very nice spa that I was unable to have time for services, but stopped to check out their wide range of spa services. Restaurant is surrounded with windows and exquisitely decorated. Breakfast was artfully presented and served with many options. Bar area is small and in same area as restaurant with small outside patio dining as well. I would definitely recommend this high end hotel. Certainly on the same level and class and service as a Ritz Carlton, with an intimate setting of a boutique hotel. A gem and a great find!

Lovely well appointed hotel right near Kensington Park. We got the family suite which has two full bedrooms and two bathrooms which was great traveling with kids. The room has a lovely coffee machine and they had fantastic housekeeping and turn down service with ample complimentary water. It was perfect for our family's trip to London. I would say the only negative is the hotel seems a bit quiet if I was looking for a scene but since we were with kids it was great.
