Reviews for Brown's Hotel

Best boutique hotel in London

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Favorite hotel in London for both business and vacation. Central area, but quiet at the same time. Great service and staff, Givi in particular is very kind and takes care of every single detail to make you feel home. Beautiful rooms and great tea experience in the afternoon.

A very welcoming hotel

We had a really lovely room, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. We enjoyed the personal attention from the staff and felt very welcomed. I only gave four circles as my vegetarian lunch was disappointing, but my vegetarian breakfast was delicious.

Definitely a great way to celebrate a birthday!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This was certainly an experience that exceeded our expectations. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday so to be greeted with a glass of bubbles got everything off to a flying start. Our rooms were very comfortable and immaculate - spacious and quiet, especially for central London. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were very impressed with the level of service which we received throughout. As for the food - well, it was delicious and beautifully presented. The crab starter and venison main which we both chose were perfect. Charlie’s restaurant was beautifully decorated and the seating was very comfortable. Donovan’s bar, where we went for cocktails, was another delightful experience. The cocktails were based on fairy tales and the menu was presented as a book with illustrations - so exciting! All in all, a fantastic visit.

You must stay at Brown's Hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our visit to Brown's was exceptional in every way. The interior was the height of traditional beauty--there was an elegance and peacefulness to the surroundings. We loved our room, the food, and the service. But the most spectacular thing about our visit was the staff, who we were honored to meet and who made us feel as if we were family. Ludmila and Dominique (our spelling may not be correct) not only served us in the restaurant--they helped us understand Brown's Hotel and London and made our meals a life experience. They became friends. Ben helped us arrange our trip, but he did more than that; he brought calm to us when we were nervous. Givi, Gabor, and Ivan were wonderful and friendly and helped us with all of our logistics--and made us feel welcome every day. We absolutely loved the people at Browns, who brought the hotel to life for us. Thank you, everyone!

Exceptional Service and Thoughtful Hospitality at Brown’s Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was my second stay at Brown’s, and once again, it did not disappoint. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly—"no" is simply not in their vocabulary. Unfortunately, I fractured my ankle on my first day in London. The concierge was incredibly helpful, recommending a treatment facility and even calling Princess Grace Hospital to ensure I could be seen promptly. Additionally, they thoughtfully assigned us a room near the elevator to minimize the number of steps I had to take. Despite my injury, I still thoroughly enjoyed London—it may have just slowed my pace a bit! I love staying at a small hotel where the staff knows your name and remembers your preferences. Brown’s remains my top choice in London!
