Hotel Cafe Royal

Impressive property combining the grandeur of the glamorous past with a modern vibe. Check-in went like a breeze. Got upgraded to a bigger room which was massive. The rooms are unbelievably quiet taken the location near the Piccadilly Circus/Regent Street. Diner at Alex Dilling restaurant was a culinary bliss! Great pool and wellness area. Perfect location if you are exploring Central London. would definitely consider staying here again, although at this price point you have more options around the area. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would like to thank all the amazing staff who made it nothing short of a memorable one.

We only stay for 1 night (which wasn't enough) but during that time we got to experience the Spa, Breakfast and our own personal driver. the room was lovely, super clean and comfy. Housekeeping were amazing, My daughter forgot her tooth brush, but housekeeping were day the door just minutes after making the request, this was also the case the next morning when we requested hair straighteners. room was cleaned while we was out, fresh, clean sheets, even a spray for the pillow to help us sleep. Breakfast was nice, sausage was lovely but was only the one. my son ordered the pancake which looked amazing, as did the Eggs Benedict. Fruits on the side and extra pastries were a nice touch. we were super impressed with the host (Padi) who welcomed us to our table. was friendly, warm welcome but the topping was when he brought out a special surprise for the birthday girl. This honestly made her day. she even said 'i feel so special' (so thank you for that). Overall good food, great sleep but a service from Padi and Housekeeping were amazing.

A great hotel in a great location! We have been looking to find our “home” in London and I suspect this could be it. You arrive in the beating heart of London, you are greeted with warm welcomes and a glass of champagne. We were booked into a Junior suite and it was a great space for London with a huge welcome lobby. We were celebrating a birthday and the hotel made sure they stepped up. Balloons, decorations, sweet treats and champagne waiting. The room was well appointed and comfortable, with great room controls. This room is well kept and maintained. Breakfast was attentive and tasty, this is so often where London hotels fall down, this did not. We did our usual shopping and for once it was no taxi back to the hotel but a short walk. We would recommend and return.

This was our first stay and it was a trip to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The staff and service was absolutely amazing - they went above and beyond, upgraded us to a junior suite, celebrated us and made every single minute special. We loved it so much, we’re staying again in June for our 25th anniversary. The location is perfect, staff and service amazing and the room was absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely setting, attentive staff & a fabulous afternoon cream tea. The sandwiches & cakes were great. A choice of many teas & free top ups of food & tea throughout. They even gave us a little extra treat for our birthdays. Thank you & well done chefs & staff
