Solid with room for improvement
This is a nice old school hotel in a very good location. I would not call it great if you are looking for an upscale stay but good enough. My biggest recommendation is right now there is considerable construction going on right outside hotel. They have a doorman, but they are not outside being of any help. You literally could walk right by the hotel (which we did twice) without knowing its there. So when we arrived with our bags no one came to help because they were in the doorway. Sounds picky, but it sets a bad precedent.

This is - WITHOUT DOUBT - the best, most professional, caring team of people we have EVER had the privilege and pleasure of be "looked after" by. A Gem in the Heart of Mayfair
Charming old school hotel in the heart of Mayfair. Best service I have experienced in years. Room was spacious and well appointed . Greeted warmly every time by doorman, bellman , desk staff and Concierge. Fabulous Bar with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Full English breakfast was amazing. Walking distance to so many of the city’s best attractions. We will return. Well done Chesterfield!

Good vegan meal
We had a three course evening meal with wine pairing here. The food was good as was the wine. The staff were excellent, very friendly and very professional. It is in an excellent location, close to central London. We have stayed here before but were staying at a nearby hotel this time.

Great time!
Phenomenal experience and service at the Chesterfield Mayfair. Staff were fantastic, even though we unfortunately lost our room key, thank you to Israel who helped us. The room was immaculate and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious and we look forward to our next visit.

We just returned from London and a three-night stay at the Chesterfield Mayfair. The hotel is lovely and perfectly located for touring the city. In our room we enjoyed quality amenities—linens, décor and lighting are all exceptional. The staff are friendly, gracious, and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel. Our expectations were exceeded.
