Wonderful hotel in the heart of Mayfair
In an otherwise loud, bustling and modern city, it’s nice to take a step back in time at the Chesterfield Mayfair. From the lovely brick facade and wood paneled lobby to the easy professional manner of the staff, it’s a treat to come “home” at the end of a day of being pin-balled around the busy streets of London. The place exudes an old world charm and coziness that immediately soothes the weary traveler. This is helped along by exceptional service from professionals like Jozef at the door, Darren and his concierge staff, and Lilia and Justin in the restaurant. We mention these few individuals, but there are many others who work hard to make the Chesterfield Mayfield a terrific experience. We’ll be back.

Another Wonderful Stay at The Chesterfield Mayfair
This was my second stay at The Chesterfield Mayfair and it is certainly my favourite hotel in central London. I was staying as part of my celebration for a special birthday and I can only say that I was made to feel like a Birthday Queen. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the welcome was so warm and special. Every member of staff is a credit to the Hotel and the Red Carnation Group. This hotel is classically elegant with the warmest of atmosphere.

A True 5 Star Stay!
The Chesterfield Mayfair is a true 5-Star place to stay! Upon arrival you are immediately greeted with a helping hand with all your (very heavy) luggage. Check in was fast and smooth, and the young lady was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Our room was perfect. The King sized bed was very comfortable and welcoming after long days of walking. The Butler Restaurant is a great place for breakfast with excellent food, and kind, courteous service. Everyone working in the front lobby areal were very kind and a great source of information. From walking directions, pub recommendations and everything in between, they all could not have been any kinder. The Terrace Bar is a perfect place to unwind after an exhaustive day in London. The bartenders make perfect drinks, the service is friendly and the piano music sets for a nice relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for seven nights, and it was really hard to leave. I can't remember specific names, but no matter - they were all great! The location of the hotel is also ideal. The Chesterfield lived up to our expectations and exceeded them. This will always be our go to place to stay in London!

Whisky tasting in the hotel bar - well worth it
It wasn’t my first time at a whisky tasting, however I still learned plenty from Alejandro, the bar manager who sits down with you for an hour and expertly shares information and teachings you about the ‘world of whisky’. Really enjoyed it - great bar atmosphere in a nice setting. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect spot for a formal gather
We hosted a dinner for 100 people at the venue and it was brilliant. We used one room for the welcome drinks and speeches, before heading down stairs to the restaurant to enjoy a three course meal - which was delicious. We then moved back upstairs to enjoy live music from the band. Roberta and the team made the organisation super easy. A really nice touch was that they sorted all the printing for the name cards, table plan, etc.

We just returned from London and a three-night stay at the Chesterfield Mayfair. The hotel is lovely and perfectly located for touring the city. In our room we enjoyed quality amenities—linens, décor and lighting are all exceptional. The staff are friendly, gracious, and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel. Our expectations were exceeded.
