We were celebrating a 60th Birthday, we came for an Afternoon Tea. We arrived a bit early so we went & had a glass of wine & was well looked after. Food was amazing, Mimi our server was brilliant, she made sure we had enough sandwiches, Tea & pastries. We will definitely make another booking.

Having stayed at Claridge‘s many times over the last 6 years and just returning from a three night stay over the Boxing Day. I can tell you the hotel certainly keeps on top of its game. You cannot fault the rooms the staff in all departments . Breakfast was wonderful every morning and I also had lunch at the Claridge restaurant one of the best Christmas dinners I’ve ever had and a quick special thank you to Pat More .

Having just spent 2 nights at Claridge's and eating dinner in The Foyer & Reading Room, all I can say is that it is amazing. There's a reason why this hotel for so long has been known as one of (if not the) best in London. The devil is in the detail as they say and Claridges does the detail. The Staff are fantastic.

For the price point and the reputation, I was fairly shocked at our stay at Claridge’s. Our trip was with two young children and it was extremely clear from the moment we checked in that we were not going to have a warm welcome with the staff because of this. In fact, I would push Claridge’s to consider whether they have the capacity to welcome children under 8 or whether they should mark themselves as an adult-only hotel (which is very fair!). Room service, laundry, and service generally was very inconsistent and it seemed as though no one was communicating with one another. We would request for room service to be delivered with a knock rather than a doorbell (when the children were sleeping) and would still get a doorbell. This happened several times. We requested laundry with sensitive detergent that we provided ourselves to staff, only for two separate housekeeping staff call to clarify directions and for a garment not to be dried as specified. We requested housekeeping while we were out for hours only to come back, twice, to unkept rooms. To top all of this, the fire alarm went off at random times most days of our week stay. We were rarely greeted by the doormen, or had the door opened when our hands were full. Even security was lacking here, as housekeeping and room service rarely closed our room door all the way. It was an honestly shocking stay, and I was sorely disappointed, again, given the high reputation Claridge’s has.

Having stayed at most hotels in London, Claridges is at the top of the list and has always been a family favourite. We just spent the weekend celebrating my father's birthday and Claridges and their team went above and beyond to make it fantastic. The staff definitely make your stay go from a 10 to a 20 instantly. Special thanks to Paula from guest relations for putting so much attention into detail & Steven from the Butler team for being so charismatic and friendly. Can't wait to come back.
