One of London's best-kept secrets, the Connaught nestles in the heart of fashionable Mayfair in an area of charming antique shops, galleries, and designer boutiques. Built in 1897, this member of Maybourne Hotel Group preserves an air of Edwardian elegance that promises an experience that can be compared to a stay in an English country manor. One of the world's most distinguished addresses has recently undergone a multi-million dollar restoration that has brought the hotel well and truly into the 21st century, while still preserving the elegance so beloved of its guests. An effortless blending of original art and antiques alongside the latest in modern facilities, high levels of service, and fine cuisine serve illustrate why this is the hotel of choice for many.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Connaught. Beyond the beautiful building and accommodations, the Staff is remarkable and always goes an extra mile. We felt so cared for on my husband's 40th birthday and the Staff made it an experience we will never forget. Not to mention the location is incredible. It's the only place I ever want to stay in London!

I recently dined at The Connaught’s esteemed restaurant with my mother, hoping for an exceptional experience to mark my birthday and explore what would have been our potential stay at your hotel during our upcoming London trip. While the dinner met our expectations for a high-end establishment, the subsequent treatment we received left us deeply disappointed and reconsidering any future visits. After finishing our meal and expressing interest in seeing the first floor of the hotel—a reasonable request given our plans to stay at The Connaught in just two weeks—we were approached by an employee who publicly humiliated us. We were rudely told to leave the premises because “non-guests” are not permitted beyond the restaurant area. This confrontation was not only demeaning but was made worse by being done in full view of other guests and staff, leaving us embarrassed and shocked at the level of disregard shown. Is this truly the standard of hospitality The Connaught prides itself on? To have a paying customer, who has just left a substantial amount in your restaurant, be treated as though they are trespassing is unacceptable. I expect better from a place with your storied reputation and high prices. The lack of courtesy and tact from your staff raises serious concerns about the quality of service guests can expect. We are now seriously reconsidering our plans to stay at The Connaught during our upcoming visit to London. Word of mouth travels quickly, and it would be a shame if this experience becomes the lasting impression of what is otherwise considered a premier destination. I sincerely hope you will take immediate steps to ensure no other patrons are subjected to such disrespectful and dismissive treatment.

As someone who values both privacy and personalized service, this hotel struck the perfect balance. The staff had an uncanny ability to be there exactly when needed, yet never hovering. The room's soundproofing was remarkable, and the bed – oh, that bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Even the bathroom amenities were clearly chosen with care.

Great linens overall! Great welcome! Staff at Front Desk make you feel special and everything feels top notch! The regular rooms are small, but stayed in a marvelous suite! The bars and restaurants are over the top, this is definitely my favorite place in London to stay

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Understated elegance. Perfect in every way. And they upgraded our room. We stay at Claridge’s and the Connaught and we preferred the Connaught. The bar is amazing too. Can’t wait to go back and stay there again

"My wife and I just returned from England. We purchased the Lygon Arms/Connaught package from Luxury Link.
I wanted to let you know that everything was provided as promised. Our suites at both The Lygon Arms and The Connaught were truly outstanding. In fact, our suite in London was perhaps one of the finest accommodations that we have ever experienced anywhere in the world."

"The Connaught was the best hotel experience, in years of travel, topping every world-wide luxury lodging in all respects. Given that we are 'road warriors' who travel the globe frequently, staying at the best hotels, this is a huge accolade. We never want to stay anywhere else! From the initial welcome, all the service from General Manager Anthony Lee's team was memorable. Our suite was the ultimate in luxury with a bed of perfection. The butler and staff were helpful, anticipating our every need. The Dining Room and Grill Room decors are fresh from a Nina Campbell makeover, with a new Gordon Ramsey protégé in charge, orchestrating the dining experience, which is all the rage of the London food scene. Every ingredient in every meal was special, from breakfast to tea and dinner, all including superb professional service. That this unique combination of comfort and style with such new-trend dining is available in such a historic environment is a testament to Mr. Lee. We are glad to know that this level of hotel experience still exists in today's world. We are eager to return and hopefully establish a corporate account at The Connaught for future business travel!"
