Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea for my birthday. I’ve experienced many afternoon teas within the city but this has to be the best afternoon tea experience in London. Highly recommend…..it’s a must try. From the moment you step into the hotel, we were given outstanding service. We were made to feel very special throughout the whole experience.

We had the festive tea at the Promenade restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and attentive staff. But the steep 15% service charge spoilt it, How else were we to get our food unless the waitress brought it to the table! What were we paying for? And the cakes, although festive in appearance, were all of the same gooey mousse texture on a damp biscuit base. Lovely to look at but sickly to eat 4. I was always taught to have a variety of textures, so a meringue, a choux, a sponge and a mousse cake or a fruit tartlet would have made a much better selection. In all a pleasant but very expensive treat

The Dorchester was one of the best hotel experiences I ever had! Annuar at breakfast was phenomenal. First time in my life a member of the staff makes my day! The rooms were very clean and everything was so fresh and new! The renovation is impressive and you feel like no one else had previously stayed in the room! Amazing linens! Amazing service! Well done!!!

Having just returned home from a stay at this wonderful hotel it really does deserve the very highest rating as a review....5* is just not enough! Customer service of the very highest standard, food of the highest quality, renovations and decor absolutely beautiful, Christmas decorations magical, beds probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in and a London experience like no other. To say we had a great time is a massive understatement! Hospitality of the highest standard and quality, this hotel is Inn keeping at its finest! Expensive yes (this is Mayfair) but what price perfection? Our sincere thanks to Sean the Director of Butlers and all the team that cared for us so well whilst in residence.
